Markus's POV

Jericho- Respected

I was sitting on a bench, Melody at my side. She looked at me and smiled softly; it was as if she knew I was upset. I smiled back before turning my attention to a giant electronic billboard. It was advertising androids. Melody glanced at it before she spoke.

"That's absolutely disgusting. Even after you've proved yourselves to be more than just machines, Humans refuse to see it and keep selling Androids as property."

"I think you're more upset about it than most Androids," I chuckled.

"I just know how it feels to be made out to be something you're not. That's all. And I'm all for those equal rights."

"I appreciate your help, Melody. Truly."

"I'm always happy to help, Markus." I glanced behind us, watching as a human gave an Android a bag, the two walking one after the other. The other Androids not even acknowledging what had happened. I looked forward, seeing the humans sitting on benches while the androids stood and waited, both groups waiting for the bus. A little to the right, an Android dropped a bag and was reprimanded by his owner.

"You klutz! Pick them up! And make it snappy!"

"That is so wrong," Melody said under her breath.

"Come on," I said standing up. I started walking back to Jericho, Melody walking next to me. We made it back in no time.

Status: North- Friend

Status: Josh- Neutral

Status: Simon- Friend

Status: Melody- Close

"We can't stay silent anymore. It's time humans heard what we have to say," I said, walking up to North and Simon who were repairing another Android.

"You know they'll never listen to us..." Simon said, standing up.

"And revealing ourselves will put us in danger," Josh added.

"If we want freedom, we need to have the courage to ask for it. That's the only way," I countered.

"I'm with Markus on this; if you want to be able to walk with Humans while keeping your LED's, you need to ask for it," Melody said.

"What do you wanna do?" North asked, after exchanging looks with Josh.

"Channel 16 broadcasts from the Stratford Tower. The control room is on the top floor. That's where we need to go," I said.

"We'll plan the operation down to the smallest detail. We can't leave anything to chance," Melody added.

Markus's POV

I walked into the Stratford Tower, Melody at my side, acting as a Service Dog. It had been decided that no one would suspect what we were about to pull off would be done by someone who needed a service dog. And in all honesty, having Melody by my side made me feel so much better.
