Okay, first of all, I do not think Russia is an evil creep who rapes/tortures the Baltics for fun, but that doesn't make this a good ship.
Russia abused Lithuania; that is canon. It is implied Russia caused the scars on Lithuania's back.
And no, it is not okay for Russia to hit Lithuania because he "loves" him, or whatever else you demons come up with. Russia's sympathetic backstory also don't excuse his treatment of Lithuania. While I'd be okay with them reconciling, pairing them together is a whole different matter, and reeks of Stockholm Syndrome.
Also, their history is AWFUL, and relations are still tense to this day. You know, because of all the occupation and oppression, and Russia's actions against Ukraine didn't help.
Like, shipping Russia with literally any of the former Soviet satellites is gross. It just so happens that this ship is explicitly abusive in canon.
Oh, and can you all stop wimpifying Lithuania? He IS strong--he'd have to be to survive Russia's abuse, especially since he appeared to be the most frequent target. Also, there's his history of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth to take into account, as well.
So, no, I do not ship this. It's a NOTP. Don't romanticize abuse, kids.
