Amedot is fantastic.
No, I don't ship this because I hate Lapis or whatever else you might accuse me of.
Lapis is my favorite character.
Peridot and Amethyst had a lot of natural chemistry from when they became friends in "Too Far". They help each other grow and are able to communicate in a healthy manner.
They also have a lot in common, such as both being young gems and maturity level (and both became obsessed with a tv show).
Even now, when they don't interact as much, they are still in sync most of the time when they do, and are still shown to care a lot for each other.
This is a good ship.
