Takes place on the eight day at Prufrock Prep; in the books, the Quagmires get upgraded to a dorm instead of a broom closet in the dormitory...
*Violet's POV*
Duncan and I were passing notes in Mr. Remora's class, listening to him tell tiresome tales and chomp banana after banana.
"Mr. Remora's stories seem particularly boring today." Duncan wrote.
" I know! I'm glad we sit next to eachother, though! I wouldn't be able to handle this school if Klaus, Sunny, and I didn't meet you and Izzie. " I replied. Our note passing was cut short by the crackly loudspeaker. "Duncan Quagmire, Isadora Quagmire, Violet Baudelaire, Klaus Baudelaire, and Carmelita Spats, please repeat to the Vice Principal's office IMMEDIATELY! And don't worry about your silverware privileges; you were called up, so you don't have control over going into the administrative building." Nero boomed.Duncan and I looked at eachother, thinking the same questions. Why is Carmelita Spats being called up with us? Why are we being called up? Did we do something wrong?
"C'mon, Cakesniffers!" Carmelita scoffed, "This isn't the time to be drooling over eachother." Duncan and I blushed as she clicked on ahead. Klaus and Isadora silently joined us as we walked a short distance behind Carmelita. We finally reached the administrative building, and I knocked on the door of Nero's office.
"Come in, come in, I don't have all day!" He greeted us crossly.
I patted Sunny's head and she gave me a smile with her four incredibly sharp teeth. "You five are my new Orphan Welcoming Committee. You four being orphans and Carmelita being valedictorian and head cheerleader, you'll welcome any new orphans in. We are getting one this afternoon, so Baudelaires, move your stuff into the Quagmire Twin's dorm." He explained.
"Triplets," the Quagmires, Klaus and I corrected softly. First off, how the hell is Carmelita Spats valedictorian? Second, she's the only cheerleader, and third, we have to move into the Quagmires' dorm? I'm not complaining about the last one, it's just that was a bit of a shock...
"You'll have the rest of the school day off and you have to leave a letter and gift to the new orphan." He added as if we had said nothing. We nodded and excused ourselves, begrudgingly bidding him good day.
"I'll give part of the gift." Carmelita said. "It'll be helpful."
" Thanks, Carmelita, " Isadora replied, pulling a sheet of paper out of her bag. "Maybe for the other part of the gift, we can give them the salt shakers to dry up the dripping fungus and some metal and tape so they have noisy shoes?"
" That's a good idea! " Klaus beamed, "What should we write in the letter?"~*~
Dear, New Student,We welcome you to Prufrock Prep! The Orphan Shack is a dismal place, but the salt should dry up the dripping fungus and then, tape the metal to the bottom of your shoes, since noise scares off the crabs. Mr. Remora teaches "Language arts", and Ms. Bass teaches "Math". If you're in Mr. Remora's class, Violet Baudelaire, Duncan Quagmire, and Carmelita Spats will be in your class. Ms. Bass' class has Klaus Baudelaire, Violet's brother, and Isadora Quagmire, Duncan's sister. We'll explain whatever school rules Vice Principal Nero may have left out.

Carmelita SpatsP.S.: Once we get another set of orphans, you'll be upgraded to an actual dorm room!
P.P.S.: We have no clue why this school hates orphans. The only one out of us who isn't an orphan is Carmelita.
~*~" I think it's great, " I commented. Everyone nodded in agreement. Carmelita surprisingly hadn't spoken in a while. She be was concentrating on her notebook. "Finished!" She squealed, "Cakesniffers, bask in my amazing art skills!" She exclaimed, shoving her notebook into my face. I flipped through them, expecting to see horribly drawn stick figures. Instead, I saw perfectly drawn photos of Duncan, Klaus, Isadora, Carmelita, and I, with labels too.
"These are fantastic, Carmelita!" I said before spying two drawings that were really weird. One was of Duncan and I hugging with a cartoon heart above us, and the other was of Klaus and Isadora holding hands with a cartoon heart above them. I silently shut the notebook. "That's enough of that..."
"What? I thought you cakesniffers might want to let this person know about your established couples! In case if they're an iceberg!" The Orphan Shack fell silent. This is awkward...
"Let's just add the pictures anyway..." Klaus suggested. Oh boy he wouldn't be saying that if he saw the photo of him and Isadora. Duncan was sitting next to me, so he saw both. Isadora looked through the notebook, Klaus reluctantly peeking over her shoulder as they complimented her on her skills. They grew uncomfortable as they saw the picture Carmelita drew of them.
"Stop being babies about it! We all know that y'all have huge crushes on eachother!" Carmelita cried in frustration. The four of us were blushing profusely as we gathered our things and began moving out. We left the things in a baggie on the middle haybale for the mystery student.
"Isadora, I'm staying with you, right?" I asked sheepishly.
"I-I don't know who else I'd share a room with." She replied frantically. I could tell the drawing kind of threw her off balance... I patted her shoulder in understanding. How were we even supposed to talk to the boys right now?********
