*Klaus' POV*
I looked up at the balcony above mine again. Who was this person with all of the flowers and plants? I constantly found petals on the floor of the balcony of my dorm. I didn't mind, of course, I just wanted to know. I heard soft humming as somebody started tending to the plants.

"I like your flowers." I called up.
" Thank you! You sound familiar. " A female voice replied. She also sounded familiar. I saw her head peek over. It was someone I knew all too well.
"Oh! Isadora!" I said, blush tinting my cheeks.
"Hi, Klaus. I'm glad you like the flowers. I love to tend to this lovely garden; I hope falling petals is something you'll pardon." She replied with her bright smile.
"Isadora! Quit flirting with the neighbors!" A boy's voice called. I assumed it was Duncan. Her face turned bright red.
"Bye, Klaus. See you in our classes." Isadora said embarresedly before disappearing.

I frowned at the fact that she left. Isadora Quagmire is perfect. Smart, creative, stunning, independent, wow her eyes are mesmerizing, funny; I could drone on and on about how amazing she is and still have plenty more to say...

"Hey, Klaus," Violet said to me as she walked into the room, "looks like you have a secret admirer!" She handed me a dark pink rose wish my name on a tag. I blushed. This is embarrassing. The only person I know with any interest in flowers is Isadora, but anyone could send a flower... I think I remember reading that all flowers have different meanings.

"Thanks, I guess." I said, taking the rose into the next room with the computer. I searched for flower meanings. Apparently, dark pink roses mean "gratitude". That's nice of Izzie. I would've accepted a normal "Thank you" for whatever reason it was sent, but this is kind of her as well.

The next day, another flower arrived. It was an Anthurium, meaning hospitality. I put it in a vase along with the dark pink rose.

The third day brought a third flower. It was a Freesia. Thoughtfulness.

Fourth day. Gerbera. Cheerfulness.

Fifth. Gardenia. I stopped checking what they were supposed to mean.

On the sixth day, I received a Yellow Chrysanthemum. I was gathering quite the bouquet and my sisters teased me about it constantly... I liked that she kept this little game going, even though I sort of stopped playing. I still thanked her for them every day; we had all our classes together.

The seventh day brought me a Yellow Tulip. I decided to check what the last three flowers meant.

Gardenias meant a number of things. Sweetness, purity, joy, and most interestingly, they symbolize secret love and are meant to tell the receiver that the giver is lonely.

The Yellow Chrysanthemum meant "secret admirer"  and the Yellow Tulip meant "hopelessly in love". They are quite pretty flowers. Maybe it's just a coincidence? If it is a coincidence, I'd be devastated...

I love Isadora Quagmire.
And she sent me flowers that imply she loves me too...

All these flowers arrived at the same time on each day. 7:30 am. On the eight day, I decided I'd go up and get the flower from her personally, hoping that she wouldn't break the tradition. At 7:25, I rushed up to her dorm room with a single red rose in my hand. "I love you". Those words repeated on a loop in my head. What's a good way to put this? I stood in front of her door. It was 7:28 and she should be out soon if she kept with tradition.

The door handle began to jiggle and I began to panic. What if it's just a coincidence? There's a very likely chance of it being just that. But at the same time, Isadora is poetic and she likes things with a deeper meaning.

Isadora was also holding a red rose. Please don't let me say anything stupid...

"I thought I'd bring you a flower today." I said sheepishly. Nailed it!
"Why a red rose?" She asked, her face matching the roses. Yeesh... Failed it...
"All of the flowers you have me tell me a bit about how you feel," I answered.
"Um... What do you think about that..."
" What do red roses mean? "
"Shouldn't you know? I mean like... You're the researcher..."
" I want you to tell me anyway." I'm actually being pretty smooth right now, confident, even. What sort of being has possessed me?

Isadora mumbled something indiscernible.
"What? I didn't hear you?" I wasn't trying to be a jerk or anything; I legitimately didn't hear her.
"I said I... I love you. I love you, Klaus Baudelaire. Do you... Do you love me too?"
" How could I not? You're perfect. Intelligent, humorous, breathtakingly gorgeous, and sweet and generous." I answered. I got on my knees and held out the rose for her. "Isadora Quagmire, will you be my girlfriend?"

She snatched the rose from my grasp as she looked at me with misty green eyes. "Of course! Yes! One million times over and over!" She yanked me up from the ground and jumped onto me, wrapping her legs around my waist. Before I could stutter my way out of this position, Isadora pushed her lips against mine. Wow that's awful forward of her...

She finally pulled away with the biggest from on her face. No matter how flustered I get, Izzie's smile always makes me smile.
"That was a bit straightforward..."
" Oh shush! You enjoyed it!"
"I never said I didn't, Izzie!"
"It was implied!"
" Would you like to accompany me to breakfast, Love? I have another flower to add to the bouquet on the way, though."

Isadora happily accepted my offer, saying she wished to keep her rose with her. I didn't mind.

"I guess you could call this a blossoming romance..."
