*Real quick: Ages: Fiona and Violet are 21, the Quagmires are 20, Klaus is 19, and Sunny is 8*
* Normal POV*
The Baudelaires and the Quagmires visit the Renaissance Festival and the first thing that crosses their mind is costumes. "What should we rent?" Violet asked.
"Quigley and I want to be pirates!" Fiona insisted.
"Aye!" Quigley agreed.
"Klaus and I can be... Um. We'll figure out something." Isadora said happily.
"Well then, I guess that leaves Duncan, Sunny and I without costume ideas." Violet admitted.Duncan smirked at her and gestured to the purple velvet dress meant to signify royalty. "I couldn't! It's far too nice!" She exclaimed.
"Please? It comes with a crown! And there's a king costume right next to it!" Duncan offered. By now, the other four had run off to find their costumes.
"Since when are you Mr. Smooth?" Violet teased.
"Since always. Now let's get those costumes before someone else takes them!" He replied.Violet looked up and down at herself after it was on. "Wow." She whispered breathlessly. The dress was long and a deep purple with gold and beige accents. It came with a crown all right. It was plastic, but looked like the real deal, making her hesitant to step out. I look too dressy, she thought, maybe Duncan and I could trade with Isadora and Klaus? But that was a definite no.
Klaus and Isadora looked great. Isadora was wearing a leather corset with a white blouse, a long rust colored skirt covering her own high boots. She was even sporting a dusty brown cloak. Klaus was wearing a forest green tunic and matching pants, with a bow and arrow slung across his shoulder. "We're Robin Hood and Maid Marian!" Isadora said, swinging her arm, and consequently, Klaus'. They had even found a green fairy costume for Sunny.
Quigley and Fiona were not going to want to trade costumes either. Fiona had on a leather jacket, leather corset, white blouse and brown skirt with her pirate hat and her knee high boots. "Shiver me timbers, you look amazing, Violet!" She exclaimed as she adjusted Quigley's eye patch. He was wearing a white shirt with a drawstring collar and a red silk scarf under a pirate's hat with baggy pants. "This is basically an anime expo for the black plague." He said softly, as if struck by some odd realization.
"Are you sure it's not too much? I think it's too much." she admitted.
"Nonsense! You look incredible!" Isadora encouraged.
"Duncan's eyes are gonna pop out of his head when he sees you!" Sunny added.
"That's for sure." Quigley agreed. That made Violet a bit more uneasy. She had the odd feeling like something special would happen today. She tried to ignore it. But just like a craving for crepes, it stayed with her.Violet suddenly felt something on her neck. Duncan had snuck up behind her and was placing soft kisses on her cheek and neck. "You look breathtaking, Love." He whispered into her ear. Violet blushed heavily and thanked him for the compliment. He looked quite handsome and Violet made sure to tell him this. "Quit gushing over eachother and let's go get seats for The London Broil!" Sunny said, "Best juggling act this side of the bubonic plague!" They all laughed at her joke and headed to the first act.

"Okay. If there's one show we need to see, it's the Tortuga Twins at 3:00." Duncan said. Nobody objected to this. It was already 2:45, so they decided to get moving. The boat house theater was just being emptied from The Ded Bob Sho. "Front seats!" Isadora squealed, spying a perfect amount of seats in the very front row. Violet thought it was interesting that Isadora and Duncan were so excited to see them, since there were three and they were called the Tortuga Twins.

" Before we end the show, we have something very important that needs to be done." One of the three Tortuga Twins said. He gave a half smile to Duncan before pulling him onstage. Violet was a bit confused, but excited to see what would happen. Fiona, Isadora, Klaus, Quigley and Sunny seemed to only share her enthusiasm. Duncan was handed a microphone.
"So, I came here with my family and I wanted today to be very special," he began, "Violet, you are incredible, brilliant, gorgeous, kind, everything about you is perfect. I knew that I love you the moment we met. Just a silly little smile turned into the best thing to ever happen to me. Sorry if you're offended, Izzie and Quigley."
" None taken! " they shouted.
Duncan pulled a small velvet box out of his pocket and got down on one knee. "I know you're going to do great things with your life and I want to be there to see your many, many achievements. Violet Kit Baudelaire, will you marry me?" He asked, flipping it open to reveal a shining sapphire on a bright gold band.
Violet looked at the box in shock. "Violet?" He asked after a couple of moments of her awed silence, worry lacing his voice.
"I was beginning to think you'd never ask!" She said, pulling him into a hug. "Yes! Yes! One million times and over yes!" She sobbed happily into his shoulder as the Tortuga Twins thanked the audience and told them to welcome the newly engaged couple. "You were all in on this, weren't you?" Violet asked her family. They all nodded.
"Is this from the family vault?" Violet asked. She was mesmerized by the sparkly sapphire embedded into the golden band.
"Of course. I trust you with my heart, so what's one sapphire?""Just know if you break her heart, I break your face." Isadora warned, although she knew she wouldn't have to live up to that promise.

"So when are you proposing, Quigley?"
"Same question to Klaus..."*************
