So, this is just a quick A/N about something in my Zane X Reader: What a jerk one-shots. (Y/N)'s daughter is actually a tribute to my dead little cousin, Tessa. I just wanted to say something about it real quick, because she was an amazing little girl and my hero. Tessa died from neuroblastoma at the age of nine after fighting her cancer for four years. I just wanted to draw attention to her real quick because she was such an inspiration to me, and she still is. She is a true example the word "strong". She truly made an impact on the world in the short time she lived. She made an impact on me and everyone she met.
Most times, when someone hears the phrase "American Hero" they think of a Veteran. As far as I am concerned, Tessa, too, was an American Hero.
