Dramione: Burning Love

Chapter 18: Finally free

The four of them were engulfed by darkness.

Hermione took out her wand and whispered "Lumos Maxima"

The whole room was filled with light. Little balls were floating around, giving them the ability to see.

Hermione looked at Ginny and noticed her hair has started to turn bright red.

Hermione gasped. The boys looked at them and gasped as well.

After a few seconds they started turning back into themselfs.

"BLOODY HELL!" Ron cussed, running his hand through his ginger hair.

"Lets find Draco and get the hell out of here!" Hermione said nervously.

"Are you looking for me?" A husky male voice said from a corner of the room.

They all turned around but couldn't see anyone.

"Who are you? Come out you git!" Ginny growled, pointing her wand at the corner.

After a few seconds, he stepped out the shadows.

He was very pale, and had blonde hair, which was one's silky, and grey eyes.

"D-Draco?" Hermione stuttered in dis-belief.

"Dont speak my name, filthy mudblood!" He growled at her.

Hermione felt her heart break. Chopping your fingers off would probably be less painful then what she felt right now.

"YOU GIT!!!" Ginny yelled, jumping on him. She started throwing in some punches, but Draco dodged them.

"Stupefy!" He growled, making Ginny fly back and hit the wall.

She fell un-concious.

"GINNY!" Harry and Ron yelled at the same time and rushed towards her.

Hermione just simply stood there, stunned.

"What are you looking at, Mudblood?" Draco spat at Hermione.

She felt a tear trickle down her cheek.

Draco felt slightly bad, but why would he? She was nothing more then a mudblood. But deep inside, he felt like this was the wrong thing to do, but he simply ignored this feeling.

"Good job, Draco." A calm voice whispered from the dark corner.

It was Lucius.

"We can finish them now..." He whispered.

Draco raised his wand at Hermione who was still stunned.

She couldn't help but sob.

"P-Please.." She kept sobbing.

"Come on now Draco... Kill her.." Lucius hissed from behind him. But Draco couldn't get himself to do so. Something in his mind told him this was wrong.

Harry and Ron came up from behind Hermione and had their wands pointed at Draco, but soon Lucius disarmed them.

"D-Draco.. Please.." Hermione sobbed again.

Somewhere in his grey eyes she could see pain.

"I love you." She whispered softly.

Draco felt something light hurt in his chest. It kept growing bigger.

He felt his heart beat fast and honestly, he didn't know why.

He just stood there, pointing his wand at the girl he used to love.
