It had been three weeks. Over that time, things hadn't changed much. The only really big thing that happened was you going back to school. That's right, school. It wasn't like you were just going to quit your education for that job. You had simply gotten a few days off so you could settle in.
The boys had gotten used to you being around by then. It wasn't that they were comfortable necessarily, they just no longer experienced that split second of confusion whenever you would enter a room. You merely existing in their lives was now a frequent thing, and it was definitely going to be for a while. You still had meetings with Jungkook every night. The things you talked about generally migrated from the members and he would ask about school, occasionally offering to help with your homework. It wasn't like you needed help, or that he would be if any assistance anyways, but you let him stick around. You genuinely felt like the two of you meshed well, and that you could be friends– despite the age difference.
Every night though, when Jungkook would leave your room, there was someone watching. In the rectangle room, Jimin waited every night to see the younger male leave your room. His suspicions were raised through the roof. Ever since he had originally seen it three weeks prior, thoughts of what you two could possibly have to do with each other plagued his mind. So, every night, he watched Jungkook exit your room, say goodnight, and then enter his own. Generally, Jimin would then go out to a bar to drink and ponder his ideas, but for the previous few days he hadn't. Since you showed up, he hadn't found himself wanting to go out as much. He didn't have the desire to leave and go party and hook up with girls. All he seemed to do was think about you, and he didn't understand why. You were just some kid who showed up! And yet, somehow, all Jimin could find himself doing was questioning everything about you. You were such a mysterious character, it was like he couldn't wrap his head around your mere existence. Aside that, there was also whatever was going on with you and Jungkook, which was another thing he just had to figure out. The man felt like he was playing detective as though he were just a child. Jimin just needed to understand you and why you were there, because he knew there was more than what you told. The thing was though, he also had yet to understand why he was so curious in the first place.
On an unfortunate Saturday morning, you woke up feeling incredibly tired. You had just spent the previous night studying until way too late for your own good. The clock read a pleasing 10:47 in the morning, and you were surprised you hadn't been woken earlier. Generally, on days when you didn't have school, you were woken up by one of the boys so you could go with them to whatever they had planned for the day. However, no such thing had interrupted your slumber.
Confused, you changed out of your pajamas and exited your room. The entire dorm was too quiet, and you almost wondered if someone had snuck in and murdered the boys of Bangtan, only sparing you. That theory was a bit of a stretch, but you considered it nonetheless. Upon entering the rectangle room, you were greeted by the usual pig sty and an ever continuing silence. You were a little freaked out, but you ignored it. Looking to your left, you noticed a note and a plate on the dining room table. You grabbed the slip of paper and began to read.
"Y/N,
"I noticed the light in your room was on for a very long time last night and I figured you must have been studying late. I told the rest of the members that we could just leave you home to sleep since we don't need you at the studio– especially not all tired and dead it'd be such a nuisance. I left breakfast for you on the table, but depending on when you actually get out of bed and read this you might want to re-heat it.
"— Jin"
It was definitely nice of Jin to think of you like that. Over the past few weeks you had really gotten the motherly vibes from him that Jungkook had talked about, but it wasn't very obvious. He was still always bitter and fairly mean to the other boys, but you could still see a bit of how you imagine he used to be. Maybe it was because there was a child around, but you still felt you were making some progress with him at least.
