"Hey, what's going on?!"
Jungkook immediately looked up to see the person who had spoken, followed by Jimin, who still held the younger male comfortingly.
"(Y/N)-ah!" Jungkook exclaimed. Both men seemed to noticeably brighten at your arrival, but their expressions quickly faded upon remembering the situation.
"Jungkook-ah, what's wrong?" you rushed over to where the man was seated on the ground, dropping your backpack behind you. It wasn't hard to miss the distressed look on his face, or the tear stains down his cheeks. Not to mention, the fact that Jimin was there too was a dead giveaway that something was definitely wrong.
Jungkook wondered if he should lie to you, but he also knew that you would be able to see right through him. Picking out lies was something easy for you, so he knew making something up would be useless. However, before he had to speak, an especially loud crash came from the practice room, followed by a shout. Needless to say, it quickly grabbed your attention.
"Hey," you started suspiciously, "what's going on in there?"
The two males shot each other panicked glances, though Jungkook's was more obvious than Jimin's.
"Oh, uh, well-"
"Namjoon. Taehyung," Jimin quickly interrupted Jungkook, not catching onto his attempt to keep you away from the fight. The younger male shot Jimin a shocked look, as if to tell him to be quiet, though telling him wasn't necessary. Jimin had already said enough. You understood perfectly.
The two men seemed to shrink back at the sudden fury in your eyes. It wasn't like anything they had seen before. You had gone off on Namjoon before, but the pure rage behind your fierce glare at that moment was far beyond what they had experienced in the past. It was enough to scare even a man like Namjoon, despite the childish appearance added by your delicate school uniform. The boys almost forgot to worry about you as you moved to throw the practice room door open. Almost.
"Wait, (Y/N)!" Jungkook exclaimed in a panic, reaching out to grab your wrist. "You can't! It's dangerous in there!"
You didn't say anything, you just turned and shot him a fierce glare as you tore your wrist from his grasp. He felt somewhat intimidated by your strength, but that didn't distract him from the matter at hand. Just as he was about to speak again to keep you from entering the danger zone, you said something instead.
"I'm not going to let them do this to you."
And with that, you flung the door open and stepped inside. Jungkook tried to get up and chase after you, but Jimin held him back.
"Yah! Hyung, let me go!" he yelled, desperately trying to escape Jimin's hold. The idea of you getting hurt almost worried him more than the fight that was happening in general. Ever since you had arrived Jungkook had taken it upon himself to keep you safe. If he couldn't do that, he would absolutely lose it.
"Just let her do it," Jimin said to the younger boy, pushing aside his own worry for the young girl. He knew it was dangerous in there, but he felt like you knew what you were doing. He had seen that you had a way of making people listen to you, and he had no doubt that it would be effective for you then. He also knew that Taehyung would do anything to prevent you from getting so much as a scratch. You could handle it in there, but Jungkook was too distressed to think about that.
"No! Do you not even care about her hyung?! They'll tear her to pieces!" Jungkook continued to fight against the other man's grasp, but he eventually accepted that he wasn't going to get away that time. He and Jimin slid down the wall onto the floor, Jungkook placing his head in his hands as worried thoughts raced through his head.
