     "...Y/N?"

You pushed the door open and walked into the conference room to see Taehyung curled up in the corner. You shut the door behind you and hurried over to him, concern overwhelming you too much to worry about your act- this was not the time for it.

"Taehyung-ssi, what's going on? Are you okay?" You knelt in front of him.

"I should be asking you that Y/N." He mumbled with his eyes on the floor. You sighed.

"Look at me, Taehyung-ssi." His eyes moved to yours. "Have you been sitting in here blaming things on yourself?"

     "No."

"Then tell me what you have been doing. Talk to me." You said, moving beside him.

Taehyung was silent at first. "Why are you here right now? Why did you come here?" He questioned. He looked at you as he ran a hand through his hair.

"I was worried." You answered honestly.

"Why?!" He burst again. "You haven't even been here for two days yet, you don't know me! Why are you worried about me?!"

You took a deep breath. It was hard for you not to just come clean about your job to Taehyung, but you knew you shouldn't. Jungkook was enough, you couldn't just go blabbering about it all over the place.

"I'm going to be here for multiple years, Taehyung-ssi. I can't help being concerned about another human being when I'm going to be living with them. I know I don't know you, but when I said I'd like to, I meant it. And that can't happen if I don't start somewhere." You told him sternly, but with a caring tone.

He looked at you in surprise. Then he decided something. You were the center of one of his episodes, and then consoled him afterwards. Then you came after him and wanted to talk, to know if he was alright after he scared you. Even though you were disrespectful towards them, there was clearly more to you than was shown. There was this caring side for one, and whatever you could call what happened in the van the day before. In that moment of realization, he made a decision.

Taehyung liked you. Even though he didn't know you very well, and you had only been here for about two days, he liked you. He wanted to be friends with you. He wanted to hang out with you at coffee shops and laugh at inside jokes. He wanted to stay up late chatting about life. He wanted to be close with you.

Taehyung looked at you fondly before breaking into giggles.

"Just a second ago he was all emo and now he's giggling like a baby." You thought in confusion. This boy sure did have mood swings. Suddenly, he leaned his head on your shoulder, surprising you even further (if your culture is against this you can ignore the touchy feely things if you want). Skinship between boys and girls wasn't common in Korea unless they were a couple or they were related, so your experiences with Taehyung today had been quite weird to you, having lived in the country since you were four years old. You decided to brush it aside though, as you didn't want to lose the progress you seemed to have made in seconds.

"I'm not okay, Y/N. Like, in the head." He began to speak. "A lot of things happen in my mind that I don't understand. Whenever I think, it's like there's multiple other people thinking too, and fighting over things."

"Are there voices?" You asked him.

"No, it's all my voice, but there's... a lot. It's why I can never really think straight, and why I'm always contradicting myself or changing opinions really fast." He explained to you.
