Jimin sighed. He let his hand fall down by his thigh, Jungkook's phone still in his grip. Your advice had helped, but he wasn't sure where to go from there. He wasn't exactly in the mood to be attacked by Taehyung, but he knew he had to leave the pool shed eventually. At this point, it was likely that staff and managers were also hunting for him, considering all the commotion in the past few hours. However, Taehyung wasn't his biggest hold up. There was something else bothering him, something not exactly unusual for the troubled man.
Feelings. That's what it was.
Once again he couldn't help but get stuck in another deep dive into his thoughts and emotions. He had managed to contain his inner thoughts so far with all of the chaos that had happened that day, but after a one-on-one conversation with you, they were out and on a rampage around his brain.
Why did I say that?
That particular thought mercilessly crusaded his mind. Why did he say it? What in the world was possibly going through his head when he told you he loved you?
Jealousy.
Jealousy? What was there to be jealous of? The amount of affection Taehyung decided to show you had nothing to do with him. He had no right or reason to care if Taehyung said he loved you.
But that's not what the familiar burning in his head was saying.
Jimin chose to ignore it, but deep inside he knew he hated the sound of Taehyung saying those words to you. He hated the idea of anyone saying it to you. It made his mind sting, and his chest tighten. He unconsciously clenched his fist. It wasn't that he thought he loved you, so much as he didn't want anyone else to. He couldn't possibly explain why, but just the thought of it pissed him off. When Taehyung said he loved you, it was like someone else took over his body, and he had no control.
What's wrong with me?
Jimin ran a hand through his ash brown mop. He didn't understand. Why was there this part of him that was so hateful and violent? More importantly, why was that part of him so concerned with who was affectionate towards you? It was literally none of his business. He was your friend now, sure, but he was hardly close enough to you to worry about who you chose to be close with. It was screwing with his head, how was it that he couldn't manage to understand his own mind? That hateful part of him needed to just dissipate, so his brain could be normal again and he could stop getting so crazy about things like Taehyung saying he loved you. So crazy that he said he loved you himself!
But she said it back.
She said it back.
Now what's that supposed to mean? As if he weren't already confused enough about his own actions, now he was confused about yours! Poor Jimin was becoming hysterical. He needed to just stop thinking, for his mind to just shut up and let him live, but no matter what he did, it wouldn't. There was this crude mixture of theories and confusion and hate swirling around his head like a black thundercloud, ready at any moment to just unleash a terrible storm.
What are you doing to me?

Jungkook's eyes fluttered open, his vision slowly fading in from black. He blinked a few times until he could fully see, but his eyes stung from the light, and he still felt too lightheaded to sit up. Squeezing his eyes shut again, he reached his right hand out to feel his surroundings. He could tell he was on a bed, as he was laying on something much more comfortable than a floor, and his hand grabbed at a plush chunk of fabric which he assumed was a blanket. Jungkook concluded that he was, in fact, in a hotel room. Since the last thing he remembered was his argument with Namjoon, he further concluded that he was, in fact, in his own hotel room. The boy internally smirked, pleased with his perceptive ability despite lacking the ability to see. He must have been loopy from passing out, as the actual impact of his situation hadn't set in.
