I hummed to myself as I put ketchup on my fries, "you're in a good mood today..." Prompto pointed out as I smiled at my blonde friend, "yeah! We're going to Lestallum soon...my boyfriend lives there" I smiled as I swung my feet, I looked up at the emo prince who was staring out the window, "yo Princey Prince..." I spoke but he didn't look at me, he was too lost in thought, "Noct..." Gladio spoke as Noct looked over at him, "what's up?" he asked laying his hand on the table, "Y/n was talking to you...don't ignore her" Gladio growled, it was normal for him to be as protective of me as he is...I was the middle child who wanted to be a crownsguard, my father and he both trained me and when the time came. Regis sent me with them on their trip to Altissia, however, Insomnia was attacked. "Sorry..." Noct turned his attention to me, "what's up little Gladio?" he asked as I snorted, "you excited to go to Lestallum?" I smiled as he shrugged, "don't know til we get there..." he said as he rested his chin on his hand and then returned to looking out the window. I felt a little hurt that he didn't want to have a conversation with me which was new because I was one of his best friends, 'did I do something wrong?' I sighed as I looked at my fries, I heard Gladio sigh, I looked over at him and he had a sorry look on his face. He could always tell when there was something wrong, "we'll have to stop by Gauldin for the night..." Ignis pushed his glasses up as I ate.

The ride to Gauldin was tiring, Gladio nearly fell asleep on me which pushed me against Noct and made the both of us blush because his arm would sit in between my breasts. We all got out of the car, 'thank Titian...' my face was still burning, Noct didn't look at me after that which made the pain I felt a lot worse and it soon turned to anger. We all ordered dinner, but I didn't eat, "Y/n...you okay?" Gladio asked, "I'm fine..." I said harshly as he rolled his eyes, "come on...tell big bwother what's wrong" he spoke in a baby voice trying to get me to laugh. I groaned as got up, "I'm not a child Gladio!" I yelled as I walked away, I sat on the beach and watched as the waves lapped against the sand. "You're right...you're not a child..." Gladio said as he sat beside me, "what you are is an idiot..." he spoke as I rolled my eyes, "you're the idiot..." I mumbled as he pulled something out of his pocket, "Noct would kill me if he knew I handed these to you" he cleared his throat as he handed me an envelope, "what is this?" I cocked an eyebrow, "the reason he's being an asshole to you...once you read that...you'll stop braggin' about your imaginary boyfriend you made up to make him jealous..." he said as he got up, "and then maybe you'll realize how big of an idiot you are..." he kissed the top of my head, "night little sister" he then walked back to the hotel. I opened the envelope and saw it was filled with crumpled up love letters, all beginning with Dear, Y/n...and all signed with Noct's name. I blushed as I read a few of them, 'he's the idiot...he should've just told me' I smiled as I put them back in the envelope and walked back to the hotel, I sneaked into the room, and put the envelopes back in Noct's jacket pocket. I turned to give Noct a kiss on his forehead but I stubbed my toe. "SON OF A BITCH!" I shouted waking them all up, "Y/n! Are you okay?!" Noct ran over to me as I lost my balance and toppled over on top of him. "my fucking toe!" I groaned, "my fucking head..." he groaned as I looked up and saw I was on him which caused both of us to blush.

"My fucking heart! It's so cute!" Prompto fangirled as we looked up at him and Ignis chuckled. Gladio smirked, "I think the three of us could use some fresh air..." he spoke as the three of them left the room. I quickly got off Noct, "your toe okay?" he asked as I looked at him, "your head okay? I'm more worried about you..." I told him as he chuckled, "I'm fine..." he smiled and then his smile went away, "were those my letters?" he seemed embarrassed and I gave a small chuckle, "yeah..." I told him as I looked at the floor (you two were sitting on the floor) "d-did you read them?" he stuttered, I giggled at his adorableness. "Yeah..." I replied as he hid his face, "gods...you must hate me...I'm such an idiot because you have a boyfriend" he said muffled, I removed his hands from his face and stared into his blue eyes, "you're so adorable...Noct...my boyfriend isn't real. I made him up to make you jealous..." I told him as his eyes went wide and then he chuckled and pulled me into a hug. "You're so stupid Y/n..." he said as I looked at him and he kissed me.
