I was walking down the sidewalk, "Y/n!" I heard a familiar voice I looked up from my phone, I saw my boyfriend running towards me, he slipped a little but he got back up and continued his run. It was very cold due to it being winter, I could see that he had something in his jacket that he was trying to keep hidden, "Y-Y/n! We need to get back to the house! Right now!" he exclaimed as he shivered. "W-What? Why?" I cocked my head to the side, "because! I found something! And it needs heat! Let's go!" he grabbed my hand and started running, "P-Prom! Slow down! You're gonna teat my arm off!" I yelled as we finally reached the house, "hurry up Y/n! Open the door!" he shouted as I jumped, I was a little worried because I had never seen him like this before. I got the keys out, "hang on little buddy!" he spoke into his jacket, I finally got the door open, "I need a bowl of warm milk!" he then said as I ran to the kitchen, I don't know what's happening but whatever it is, is important to him. I poured some milk into a saucer, then put it in the microwave, once it was warm I went back into the front room. I handed it to him and he put it on the floor. Then what he had put in front of it made me smile because of how big his heart was.

It was a little black and white puppy. The puppy trotted over to the warm milk and began to lap it up, "this is what all the rush was about Prom?" I giggled as he looked up at me, "it was dying Y/n! I wasn't going to let it die without a home, friends, or family!" he explained, I sighed at sat beside him on the ground. "Did you rescue the pup because it reminded you of you? Because you feel like you don't really belong?" I asked him as he watched the pup and gave a small nod. I ran my fingers through his hair and scratched his head a little, "you belong with me...and that's where you're going to stay baby" I told him as I kissed the side of his head, he looked at me with a large smile and chuckled. "I don't think I'd wanna belong to anyone else..." he kissed my nose, and I placed my forehead against his. The pup then climbed in between us, laid down, and went to sleep. "What are we gonna name it?" I smiled at him, "mm...Fido? No that's to generic...hmm" he started thinking, "Choco? No that's too weird..." he sighed, "hmm..." he looked down at the little pup, "it's kinda like a bean..." I joked as he gasped, "BEAN! That's gonna be its name!" he shouted as I giggled. "You're so adorable" I laughed, I then cuddled up to him and we fell asleep on the floor with Bean.
