Picnic ~Ignis Scientia~ *Fluff*

I was sitting in one of the camping chairs, slowly falling asleep, when someone sat beside me. "A moment Y/n?" they spoke as my eyes opened, I looked over and saw Ignis. "What's up, Iggy?" I yawned, "I was wondering if you'd like to accompany me someplace..." he pushed his glasses up and then ran his fingers through his hair. "Uh...sure, where would we be going?" I asked him, "just a little drive somewhere..." he told me as I cocked my head to the side, and he chuckled. "Noct is gonna let you drive somewhere without him?" I raised an eyebrow as he chuckled, "I talked to him about it...he was all right with it, besides we'll have to leave early in the morning to go to this place..." he told me "define early?" I yawned "happening or done before the usual or expected time." he told me as I snorted, "that's not what I meant...like...how early?" I asked him, "before dawn...at most," he told me, "mm..." I thought for a moment, "all right Iggy..." I told him as he gave me a smile. After that, I went into my tent because I got my own tent, and went to bed. I woke up several hours to someone shaking me, "mm..." I snuggled deeper into my blankets and someone chuckled. My eyes fluttered open, "Y/n..." Ignis whispered, "mm..." I yawned as I turned and looked at him. "Is it time already?" I rubbed my eyes, "indeed..." he whispered, as I sat up, "all right...let me get changed" I yawned, he then left, I changed, and brushed my hair. I left and when I did, I saw his hair wasn't styled like he normally kept it, and I smiled. "What?", "your hair isn't how it normally is..." I told him as his face went red, "I wanted to try something different with my hair..." he told me, I yawned again and followed him to the car, I saw in the back seat that there was a picnic basket, I climbed in the seat beside him, and he started driving. We drove for several hours, long enough for the sun to come up, and then he finally parked near some woods. We got out, he grabbed the basket, and then we walked through the woods.

"Where are we going?" I asked him as he slipped and nearly fell because we were walking up a hill in the woods, "you'll see..." he said as he cleared his throat and pushed his glasses up. We traveled through the woods for a few moments until we reached where we were going. It was fields and fields of all different types of flowers, and there sat a single oak tree on top of a hill. "It's beautiful!" I exclaimed as he smiled, "come along" he held out his arm and I interlocked my arm with his. We walked through the field, up the hill, and he laid out the picnic blanket. We sat on the blanket, he brought out some champagne, two glasses, and then the food. "Champagne for breakfast?" I cocked my head to the side, "it's noon Y/n..." he told me as he poured us some champagne, I checked the time and saw he was right. "And Noct is okay with us being gone for a while?" I cocked my head, "of course. Once more I talked to him about it...he has the Chocobo's to help him get around...he knows when we're going to be heading back...he'll meet us back at camp tonight" he said as I looked over at him, "tonight? We're staying here all day?" I cocked my head to the side "this place is even more beautiful at night" he explained, "all right..." I smiled, we spent the day having a picnic. "You got strawberries?" I cocked my head to the side as I pulled out a thing of strawberries, "I like strawberries..." he told me, as I opened them, "here" I told him as he went to grab the strawberry from my hand, but I pulled it away, "just indulge me, Iggy,..." I giggled, I smiled, and chuckled. "Very well," he said, I moved the strawberry towards him, he bit down on it and ate it. We stared at each other, 'that was...' he then moved the basket and began to kiss me. I returned the kiss as I fell on my back, "Y/n...I love you..." he told him as he placed his forehead against mine, "I love you too Ignis..." I told him as I kissed his nose. "Be mine..." he whispered, "okay..." I giggled as we kissed again.
