~Ignis' pov~

I walked through the Citadel halls, I stopped in my tracks as Y/n walked past with a smile on her face, "Y/n..." I began as she stopped and looked at me. "Are you all right?" I looked at her as her ears folded down and her tail stopped swishing. "Yeah, why?" she arched an eyebrow, I placed my hands on her shoulders and backed her into the wall. I leaned down, my nose brushing against her neck causing her to shudder. "You smell...different..." I whispered as I inhaled, "better than anything I've ever smelled in my life" I spoke as she shook either from fear or anticipation. I didn't know. There was something intoxicating and tantalizing about her scent. "Hey, Ig-...whoa! Uh, I'm just gonna back away now" Regis spoke as we looked at him, I blushed three different shades of red, "f-father!" she exclaimed as I moved away from her and cleared my throat, "look...what you two do in your spare time is between the two of you. But don't do it in the halls." he spoke as her face grew red, "dad! The hell?! We weren't doing anything!" she shouted as he laughed, "no need to be embarrassed, my dear. I remember when your mother was in heat, I couldn't help myself either" he spoke as her ears folded down. "DAD! I DON'T NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR SEX LIFE WITH MOM!" She screeched as she walked off. "I apologize..." I did a small bow as he looked at me.

"You can't help yourself, she's in heat...the only ones who aren't affected are Noct and I. We are Miqo'tes after all." he spoke as my ears folded down, "Was there something you needed?" I asked as he smiled.

~Your pov~

'I hate this! I hate this!' I paced in my room, Ignis' words kept echoing in my mind, 'the man I had liked my entire life had just essentially pinned me to the wall because I'm in heat! Would he have taken it any further?' I sat down on my bed, "yo, Y/n! Dad wants to see us" Noct spoke as I looked at him, "do you ever Noct?" I joked as he chuckled, "nope, c'mon" he spoke as I got up and followed him to the throne room.

~Time skip~

We had finally reached Gauldin, there we met a man with wine-red hair, ears poking out of his hat, wine-red tail, and golden eyes. He walked past me and stopped. He looked at me and gave me a toothy grin. "You may want to work on the fact that you're in heat, my dear. Don't want something bad to happen to you" he spoke as he winked and walked off. 'Astrals! I fucking hate this!' I groaned and Ignis wrapped his arms around me protectively. I looked at him, he was glaring at the man who was walking away, his ears were folded down and he let out a low growl. "You three go ahead..." he spoke as he looked at my brother and our friends. He pulled me to the Caravan, it was already dark out, he pulled me inside and closed the door. He locked it and he pushed me against the counter. "I cannot contain it any longer..." he spoke as I opened my mouth to ask him what he meant but he cut me off with a heated kiss, I was in shock and practically melted into the kiss. "I'm afraid I must ask for your forgiveness" he whispered as he kissed along my jawline and I whimpered. "In the years I've been alive, I've never imprinted on someone..." he began to kiss my neck, lightly grazing his teeth causing me to moan slightly, and pant. "Until you walked past me and I had you against the wall..." he spoke as I gasped and lightly pushed him away.

"You imprinted on me?" I asked him, he sighed and looked away. "Yes. It was an accident...I didn't even know I had done it until I talked to your father about why you were on my mind without you even being around me to smell you..." he whispered as he pushed his glasses off. "S-So dad knows you imprinted on me? That must be one of the reasons he wanted me to come with you guys" I spoke as he sighed, "I do apologize" he spoke as I giggled and placed a hand on his cheek. He looked at me, "Ignis...do you remember when we first met as kids?" I asked as he nodded, "you stared at me as if I was the most intriguing thing you'd had ever seen" he spoke as I nodded. "The real reason I was staring was all because I had imprinted on you that day..." I told him as he stared at me, "Y/n...let me help you...with you being in heat" he whispered as I bit my lip. "Please do..." I spoke as he wrapped his arm around me and lifted me onto the counter.

~Time skip~

I woke up a few hours later, "sleep well kitten?" he asked as I smiled and rolled over to face him, "mhm...thank you, Iggy..." I smiled as he brushed aside some of my hair and smiled. "What's going through your mind darling?" he whispered as I looked at him, "what does this make us? Because I don't want this to be a one-time thing" I whispered as he chuckled and held me close to him. "You're my mate, as I am yours" he whispered as I looked at him, he grew a smile and kissed me passionately. "I imprinted on you, as did you...nothing can ever break that...not even the Astrals themselves...you're mine and I'm yours" he whispered, "forever?" I asked him as he smiled, "forever and always, my dear" he spoke as he kissed me again.
