I walked on the sidewalk with my newfound friend. "Yeah...I've got my whole life planned out..." he sighed as he rubbed his neck, "and you're okay with that?" I cocked my head as I looked at him. "It's my destiny..." he nodded as I smiled, "I'm searching for mine...I have a feeling it's in Altissia..." I sighed as I let my hand fall onto my bag, "why there?" he asked as I looked at him, "I dunno...but it's just this feeling...y'know" I asked as he chuckled, "yeah...would you mind moving your bag to your other shoulder?" he cleared his throat, "why? "What was that for?" he asked, "because you're adorable," I told him as I giggled and then dragged him to my favorite cafe. We got a seat, ordered what we wanted which was some fries and soda, and then started talking. "So...do you have family in Altissia?" he cocked his head to the side, "my grandma...she runs a pastry shop. I've asked my mother if I could stay with her...mom, of course, said no because grandma and she had a falling out...but I'm saving up money to go anyways...my mom doesn't make my decisions for me...I haven't seen granny since I was born..." I explained, "hoping to get enough to jump ship?" he asked munching a fry, "yes actually..." I giggled as he thought for a moment.

"Is there any way I can help?" he gave me a concerned look, "if you're offering to pay for me to leave...I'm going to have to say no...because I won't allow my friends to do something for me that I know I can do it myself..." I told him and he sighed. "I wanna help you somehow Y/n..." he gave me a pouty look. I groaned, "you can do whatever you want to Noct..." I smiled, "awesome!" he chuckled as I giggled.

~A few weeks later~

I had already packed, I told my mother that I was going camping with a few friends, when in reality, Noct, king Regis, and two others were taking me to Altissia, there was a knock on the door, and I opened it. "Heya Y/n! You ready for G-..." I cut Noct off by shoving my hand over his mouth, I pushed him back as I walked outside, closing the door behind me, and then I removed my hand. "Mom can't know Noct..." I told him as I realized how close we were and we both blushed. "S-Sorry..." Noct then grabbed my bags as we walked over to a nice looking car, in the back was a muscular man reading a book, and in the front of a smart looking man with great hair sipping some Ebony. Noct put my stuff in the trunk, Regis climbed into the passenger side, I climbed in between the muscular man, and Noct. "Hello...I'm Gladio" the man beside me smiled, "I'm Ignis... a pleasure to make your acquaintance," the man in front said. The ride to Gauldin was long and by the time we got there, it was nighttime. "Y/n...you can share a room with Noct..." Regis smiled as my face went red. I looked at Noct who was blushing and rubbing the back of his neck with one of his hands. His other hand rested in his pocket. "Uh...okay" I cleared my throat awkwardly, "we'll be over here if you need us..." Regis and the others walked to the room across from us. Regis had a smug look on his face. Noct and I went to our rooms. "Your dad is planning something...I hope you know" I said as he snorted.

"What bed do you want?" he cocked his head, "oh! I was gonna stay up a little while longer to work on some ideas to help grandma with the shop" I told him as he nodded. "All right...I'll take this one! By the door" he told me, as he was changing in the bathroom, I changed in the room, and then took a seat on the balcony that was there. I stayed up for a few hours drawing up ideas for new treats and writing down some recipes for them. I groaned as I placed my head in my hands and ran my fingers through my h/c hair. "You okay?" Noct asked as I jumped, "I'm just a little tired...but I should finish writing this down..." I rubbed my shoulders, "here...stand up..." he said as I cocked an eyebrow, "just...do it" he sighed, I did as he asked, and he swept up behind me. He pushed me towards the railing, we were closer than last time now. I could feel the warmth coming from his torso as we stared at each other. "Turn around Y/n..." he whispered, I did as he asked, he wrapped two arms around me, placed his chin on my shoulder, and then pointed to the sky, "look..." he whispered again, I looked at the sky and gasped at the beauty. "You're in one of the most romantic places in the world...and you're working...take a moment to admire your surroundings," he told me. I stared at the sky, "it's...beautiful..." I whispered as he buried his face into the crook of my neck. "I've got a problem Y/n..." he softly spoke, his lips lightly touching my neck, and I shuddered a little. "What is it Noct?" I whispered, "I'm in love..." he finally said as I felt my heart break a little, "I see..." I mumbled, "and she's beautiful...and kind...and sometimes doesn't notice I exist..." I could feel that his eyebrows were furrowed as a way of sadness.

"What should I do?" he then asked, "well...you should just tell her...and if she doesn't accept your feelings...then it's her loss," I told him as he sighed, "do you?" he then asked as I cocked an eyebrow, "do I...what?" I cleared my throat as he chuckled a little, "accept my feelings?" he then asked as I froze, "wait...you were talking about me?" I turned and looked at him, he placed his forehead against mine, "hell yeah I was..." he told me as I smiled largely, "I love you too Noct!" I shouted as I hugged him which caused us to fall onto the ground, he started laughing, and then hugged me. We looked at each other, both of us blushing because of how we fell, and then he placed a hand on my cheek. "Y/n..." he whispered and then closed the gap between the two of us, I kissed back with force, and he lay on his back. He placed his hands on my hips, our tongues swirled together, and I moaned out a little as he gripped onto my ass.
