I lay in my bathtub, completely relaxed music played softly, and I sighed as I let the warm water slid down my leg as I propped it up against the wall. Then my mom knocked on the door, "Y/n! Your fiancee is here!" she shouted through the door, "who?" I cocked an eyebrow, and she sighed. "Your fiancee...remember? You two are meeting today?" she asked as I sighed, 'damn...that's right. Mom and dad are marrying me off to a complete stranger. Well...it's more like. King Noct from the neighboring kingdom is marrying off someone, I'm supposed to marry them, and it's only for some stupid treaty...' I sighed as I got out of the tub, "mom...you know I don't want to do this! This person is a complete stranger" I told her as she sighed, "this was going to happen eventually...you're a little over eighteen...it's time for you to get married" she told me as I rolled my eyes, "so you're gonna marry off your only heir to some random as-..." I complained as I opened the door and saw a tall handsome man standing there. 'Oh...hello there' I stared at him as he chuckled, "I'll leave you two to get better acquainted..." mom giggled as she walked off. "Not one for the arranged marriage are you, your majesty,?" he bowed as I groaned, "please don't remind me that I'm the princess of an asshole king who thinks it's fun to attack our neighbors only to start a war...then realize that he's made a mistake because Insomnia, obviously has a better army than we do, and so I sell my daughter off to someone from Insomnia" I sighed as he chuckled.

"I'm sure your father wouldn't like hearing his daughter say that...oh! Where are my manners? I'm Ignis, Ignis Stupeo Scientia. However, I would prefer Ignis or Iggy please..." he gave me a warming smile, "I'm F/n M/n L/n...just Y/n is fine..." I told him as we started to walk towards the gardens. "Hmm...may I call you Red?" he asked as I cocked my head to the side, "why?" I chuckled as he pushed his glasses up, "because you've been blushing since the moment we met" he told me as I blushed deeper and looked away, (I forgot to mention...yes you are dressed) "s-shut up" I mumbled as he chuckled. We ended up having a picnic in the gardens, "Noct has given permission that we can plan our wedding if we wish..." he told me as I covered my face and groaned, "I still can't believe dad is forcing me to do this..." I sighed, "what do you mean?" he cocked his head, "I thought I'd marry for love...not to pick up my dads messes..." I told him, he looked down and pushed his glasses up. "I understand what you're talking about..." he started as I looked at him, "but...Noct has been my best friend ever since we were children...I was his advisor before he even became king. I followed him to hell and back. He's done so much for me...I think it's time I return the favor now" he told me, "wait...do you think I don't like you? Iggy, that's not the case. I think you're an amazing guy. Ugh, I'm screwing this up..." I sighed as he snorted, "I know what you mean...here..." he then handed me a piece of paper that had his number on it.

"I think it should be right that we have each other's number..." he told me as I smiled and put it in my phone. "Anyways! If we don't plan this wedding...mom is and I don't want her to plan my wedding...she already had hers" I told him as I cuddled up to him as he pulled out a journal. After a few hours he had to leave, "please...if you ever get the chance, you should come to Insomnia...I'd love to show you around" he smiled, "I will try" I told him as his smile grew wider, he then took my hand, and kissed it. "Until next time" he whispered as he pushed his glasses up and then he left. "Wow...he's really handsome Y/n," said mom as I watched the vehicle disappear "yeah..." I mumbled and then went to my room where I went to sleep because oh my god I was tired.

~A few months later~

I was finally in Insomnia, not to sightsee, but to have my wedding. "This place is so big!" I exclaimed as I got out of the car in front of the Citadel, "thank you" smiled a man as he walked down to us, "you must be the one Spec's won't shut up about..." he smiled, "uh..." I started as mom and dad stood beside me, "pardon my me...I'm King Noctis Lucis Caelum. However, right now I am that guy who is helping his best friends bride to her room, and then planning his bachelor party" he told me as I smiled, "you're fun" I told him as mom hit me a little and Noct chuckled, "thank you" he then shook hands with dad, and then grabbed my bags. "Oh! You don't-..." I started, "I know...but you're marrying my best friend tomorrow...I wanna be a good person" he told me, we walked through the halls, "so...where is Iggy?" I asked, "he's taking care of some council stuff for me..." he explained, just then two people ran in front of us. "GET BACK HERE!" shouted one as the other laughed, "never!" he shouted, "PROMPTO! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" the first yelled as the second one dodged "you'd kill the only man you'll ever love? I'm hurt!" the one known as Prompto gave a fake sad smile as the first one finally caught him. "If you weren't my husband...I'd kill you," he told Prompto as Prompto giggled and then kissed the taller man, "I love you too Gladio" Prompto spoke, "Aw!" I squealed as they both look at me, "oh! Shit, I forgot that you were coming today!" Gladio then walked up and bowed, "Gladiolus Amicitia, shield of the king," he told me, "Prompto Amicitia, formally known as Argentum...best friend of the king" the blonde bowed.
