Depression ~Gladio~ *FLUFF*

This one is...well, there's heavy mention and attempts of suicide. So unlike the Ignis one (where he literally fucks the depression out of you), this is nothing like it~Sky

I sat on my bed, silent like always, my four friends were out doing something. 'Insomnia is gone, the king is dead, my parents are dead, my one-month-old brother is dead, everyone I've ever loved is gone now because of the Empire. I'm completely useless in a fight...they're always having to protect me...I hate this...I cannot keep doing it anymore!' I felt the tears start to prick my eyes and I wiped them away, thankfully I had my own room since I was the only woman in the group. 'I'm so tired of it...of all of it...' I sighed as I got up and started pacing. 'You should just do it Y/n...you know they wouldn't care. You'd be taking a burden off of their shoulders...' I chewed on the inside of my mouth. 'They wouldn't care...it'd be just like last time...only unlike what was said to me by my older sister...I won't fuck it up...' I locked my door, 'I should just kill myself...if anything, the one who will be most relieved that I'm gone will be him...after all, he's constantly yelling at you during battle. He doesn't care. He never cared. Why would he start now?' I sighed as I walked over to my black backpack and dug into it. I found what I was looking at. I held a folded up piece of tissue paper. I walked into the bathroom and stared at the mirror.

'He'll never love you. You're worthless and all you ever do is drag him...all of them down. You can do it.' I closed the bathroom door and locked it. I rolled up my sleeve, unfolded the tissue paper and stared at the razor. 'Even Prompto will be happy that I'm gone...' I sighed as I placed the razor on my wrist and pressed down roughly. I watched as the warm red liquid spilled out and into the sink. I placed the razor on the tissue paper as my blood dripped from my wrist. 'Gladio...you don't love me as I do you...all I've ever done was bring you down...I'm nothing but a burden to all of you. I have no one else left in this world so there's no reason for me to go on' I closed my eyes as I felt faint. Everything soon grew blurry.

~Gladio's pov~

We walked back to our hotel room, Prompto and Noct were laughing at something, I looked over at Y/n's door and stared. "Gladio?" Ignis spoke as I continued to stare at the door. 'Something's wrong...' I furrowed my eyebrows and knocked on the door. When there was no reply I grew worried, I jiggled the handle and saw it was locked. "Y/n! Are you in there?" I asked, no reply. "Fuck this!" I growled as I kicked the door down, "jeez dude!" Noct spoke as I walked in and looked around, the bathroom light was on, 'she must be in the bathroom.' I let out a small sigh, I looked at her pack, it was opened, I looked at her bed and saw a notepad. I picked it up and read what was on it. 'Dear guys, I'm sorry that I've been nothing but a burden on all of you. I know none of you will miss me. I don't even know why I'm writing this. I've got no one left in this world. I'm sorry for doing this-Y/n' my eyes grew wide as I threw the notepad on the bed and ran tot he door. "Y/n! Open this door!" I shouted as I banged on the door, soon Noct and them were banging on the door. "Gladio...break it down" Noct spoke as I nodded and broke the door down. My heart practically stopped when I saw her laying on the bathroom floor in a puddle of her blood. It oozed out of her wrist, I could see that she was still faintly breathing, "damnit Y/n..." I growled as I kneeled down, I looked at my friends, "give me something to stop the bleeding!" I yelled at them as they looked around the room, Ignis grabbed a towel and handed it to me.  "N-No...stop" she muttered, "shut up...you're lucky I don't kill you myself" I whispered.

"First-aid kit! In my pack" I told them as Prompto and Noct ran off. "We need to move her..." Ignis spoke as I picked her up bridal style and carried her to her bed. I removed the towel and saw the blood had finally stopped. I handed Ignis the bloodied towel as Noct handed me the first-aid kit. I popped it open and began to clean and dress the wound. "Fucking idiot!" I muttered under my breath as I finished.

~Your pov~

I woke up a few hours later in my room, 'still managed to fuck it up somehow...' I let out a small sigh as I looked over and saw Gladio was wide awake and staring at me. I glanced over at the bathroom. "You can try...but I'll get to you before you get the chance" he spoke as I looked at him, 'worth the risk...' I glanced back at the bathroom. I quickly got out of bed and bolted for the bathroom. He grabbed me and gripped my shoulders. He turned me around and growled at me. "Why are you trying so fucking hard to kill yourself?!" he screamed as I looked away from him, "why?! Why could you possibly want to kill yourself?!" he yelled again, "why do you fucking care?!" I yelled at him as he growled, "because if you kill yourself...you're killing the most important thing to me!" he yelled as I looked at him. "Between Iris and you...you're the second most important woman in my life..." he whispered as I stared at him, he hugged me tightly, "please..." he whispered as I blinked a few times. He was shaking as he hugged me. "Please don't leave me Y/n...I love you too much..." he whispered as my eyes grew wide, "I've always loved you...so, please. Don't go somewhere I can't go..." I felt wetness on my shoulder. 'He's...crying' I blinked a few times, he pulled away and looked at me with tears streaming down his face. His eyes studied my face and then he kissed me passionately. I was in shock and felt tears streaming down my face. I wrapped my arms around him and returned the kiss. We pulled away and he placed his forehead against mine. "I-I'm so sorry Gladio..." I whispered crying, he wiped away my tears, "I'm going to start bunking with you for two reasons...I'm gonna be worried...and because you're my girlfriend..." he whispered as I gave him a small smile and nodded. "Okay Gladio" I whispered as he smiled and kissed me again. "I love you too Gladio" I whispered as he hugged me tighter.
