Truth ~Prompto~ *Fluff*

I sat in the back of the Regalia, listening to my music while reading a book, my brother Gladio was reading a book as well, Noct was asleep beside me, Ignis was driving, and Prompto was playing on his phone. I glanced up and saw that Prompto was taking my picture. I took my earbuds out, smiled, "stop taking pictures of me!" I giggled as I reached for his camera, he chuckled and moved the camera away. "Gods..." I hid my face as he took another picture, "I can't help that you look adorable" he told me as I rolled my eyes, my chin rested on my hand and watched as he continued to take pictures of all of us. We finally got to where we were going, "now this is what I'm talking about!" Prompto said as we got out of the car, "kids got it bad..." Gladio used me as an armrest, "there are worst vices I suppose" Ignis pushed his glasses up as Prompto ran up to the guy that ran the Chocobo post. "Excuse me...we'd like to ride the Chocobo's please" Prompto smiled largely, I put my earbuds back in as they all talked to the man known as Wiz, and then walked up to me. I took an earbud out, "we gotta go take care of a creature called Deadeye in order to ride the Chocobo's..." Noct told me with a sigh. "All right...let's go do this!" I smiled as we started walking.

During the fight with Deadeye, he used his tail as a type of weapon, and it hit me. I was thrown against a wall, I let out a loud grunt as my back made contact with the wall, I fell to the ground. "Y/n!" Prompto shouted as he ran over to me and stood in front of me while shooting at Deadeye, I coughed up blood and then passed out.

~Prompto's pov~

After we dealt with Deadeye, I turned to check on Y/n, I saw there was blood coming out of her mouth, and she was passed out. "Y/n!" Gladio shouted as I rolled her over, I lay her in my back as Gladio practically slid to a stop and looked at her. He was on the ground, the other two ran over to examine her, "Y/n! Y/n wake up!" I shook her, but she didn't budge, 'no! No Y/n! Don't be dead!' I felt tears threatened my eyes as I hugged her, "don't be dead..." I whispered, "I'm...not...dead yet Blondie..." she then spoke as I looked up and her eyes were open. "Although...I can't breath...you're crushing me!" she groaned as I pulled away and gave her a small chuckle, "how are you feeling?" Ignis asked kneeling down, "my body...really hurts...I think somethings broke..." she groaned as she tried to get up but screamed out in pain. "Y/n! Don't move. I need to check something..." Ignis cleared his throat as he kneeled down beside her, he removed his gloves which made all of us concerned. "I'm going to have to lift your shirt...to examine your body" he then said as all of our faces went red, "your shirt will not go past your breasts" he simply said as her face got even redder. "Okay..." she told him as he gently began to lift her shirt to reveal her stomach and her ribs. We could see a large bruise on her side where her ribs were. "You've got some bruising on your side...I need to know if it hurts when I press here" Ignis pressed down on her stomach a little and she yelped out in pain which then caused her to cough up some blood. "Just as I suspected..." Ignis sighed while pushing up his glasses, he looked over at the four of us, "she's got internal bleeding...potions won't help sadly...we can't move her..." Ignis took a deep breath and then looked down at her, "I'll have to perform the surgery here..." he told her as tears threatened her eyes.

He then set Noct, and I to go get some stuff, we ran back to where they were, and then looked at Noct and I. "You two will need to leave so I can do this...Gladio...you will have to remain..." he told us, "no! I want them to stay...especially Prompto..." she told him as she gripped onto my hand. I blushed a little, as he sighed, "very well...I must warn you, Miss. Y/n...this will hurt..." he told her with sorrow in his voice, we could all tell that he was worried, "I can take it..." she told him, he sighed, and began his surgery. She screamed out in pain as Gladio held her hand and her other hand gripped mine tightly. Then the screaming stopped and she stopped moving, "what happened?!" Gladio looked at Ignis, "she's passed out...it'll make this better..." he told us as he continued.

~A few hours later~

"What now?" I asked as he stitched her up and sighed, "we wait...", "for what?" Gladio didn't leave her side, neither did I "for her to wake up. Don't worry Gladio, I know what I'm doing...trust me..." Ignis then took one of the bottled waters we had and poured it onto his bloodied hand to wash off her blood. After that, we set up camp. I sat by her side the entire night, Gladio sat on the other side of her, "how's she doing?" he asked examining his sleeping sister, "hasn't woken up yet..." I whispered as I moved some of her hair off her face, he was silent, and then looked at me. "She'll wake up...she's an Amicitia..." he spoke, I didn't look at him, I just held her hand, and stared. I could tell he was scared that she wouldn't. "You should get some sleep" he added as I shook my head, "no..." I told him, as he chuckled, "you're such a good person..." he chuckled softly as I looked at him. "I'm not leaving her side Gladio...me being a good person has nothing to do with it..." I told him as he looked at me and saw the tears in my eyes. I turned my attention towards her, "I love her..." I finally told him while looking at him, "I love everything about her and not because she looks beautiful in the photo's I take of her...but because she puts up with all the shit that I do...because she doesn't care that I follow her around like a lost puppy...I don't...want her to go somewhere I can't follow..." I cried, "he finally admits it..." I heard a faint voice, I looked over at her and saw her eyes were slightly opened. 'Y/n!' I smiled as she placed a hand on my cheek to wipe away my tears, "I love you too Prompto...that's the only reason I haven't destroyed your camera yet...I like it when you take pictures of me...even when I say stop..." she gave a small smile, I placed my hand on hers and cried.

"You're awake" I whispered, "and he ignores what I say..." she chuckled and then coughed a little, she groaned and gripped her side, "don't...you'll open your stitches..." I told her, "you should get some sleep," she told me as she started to fall back asleep.

~A few days later~

"Y/n come on!" I shouted as she chuckled.

*Your pov*

I watched as Prompto ran up to a Chocobo, and then began to feed it. Noct and them went to Lestallum while Prompto and I hung out at the Chocobo post. I walked up to where he was, I was still recovering from my surgery but Ignis said that I was allowed to move around now. I groaned slightly as I held onto a table for support, "Y/n!" he ran up to me, "are you okay?" he was worried, "yeah..." I nodded, "are you sure? Ignis said don't push yourself...maybe we should take a break..." he gave me a concerned look. I placed a hand on his cheek, "you're so adorable..." I giggled as he blushed, he gave an embarrassed chuckle. "Prompto...what I said that night was true...I do love you..." I told him and he stared at me and then placed a small chaste kiss on my lips. I returned the kiss, "and I love you Y/n..." he told me, despite the fact that we were now dating, he still got embarrassed when we kissed, and when I'd give him compliments. "You're perfect..." he whispered as I smiled.
