I was woken up by my phone ringing, "mm...hello?" I sleepily asked, "Y/n! Can I come over?" my boyfriends' voice ran through my ears, "Prom...baby it's like..." I removed my phone from my ear to see the time, "twelve in the morning..." I mumbled as he whined, "pwease! It's so cold without you here! Plus I can't sleep and I've got nothing better to do..." he whined as I sighed, "you've got plenty of pictures of me from the many sex nights we have..." I started, "already did that...it's better when it's the real thing" he grumbled as I rolled my eyes, "if you come over...we're not having sex...we're gonna sleep because by the gods I'm tired..." I yawned, "Yay! I'll be over in a few" he said as he hung up. I giggled at my boyfriend's adorableness, then snuggled up in my blankets, I was in between asleep and awake when I heard my front door open. I knew it was Prom because he had the spare key, then there was a bang. "Ow! Freaking...coffee table..." he mumbled as he finally found his way into my bed, "Y/n? You awake?" he whispered as I sighed, "I am now..." I mumbled "sorry...I didn't mean to wake you" he said as he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer to him. I shivered at his touch, "why are you cold Prommie?" I asked rolling over and snuggling into him, "I'm in my pajamas as it rains outside..." he explained as I opened my eyes and looked at him. "Now I know you did not just climb into my bed while you're soaking wet" I glared at him as he chuckled, "no?" he said in a questioning way as I sighed, "go change into the pajamas you left during Ignis' birthday slumber party we had here" I told him as he chuckled remembering that party.
It was that party when he asked me to be his. He climbed out of bed, dug through my dresser and pulled out the pajama's I was talking about and then went to the bathroom to change. I stripped the bed of the soaked sheets and then threw them in the washer. I walked into the kitchen and put on a pot of coffee knowing that when he can't sleep...no one can. But I loved him so I put up with it. He walked out of the bathroom and threw his wet clothes into the washer and even started it up for me, "thank you Prompto" I said as he rested his chin on my shoulder and held me as he stood behind me. "It's the least I can do since I've woken you up and now you can't get back to sleep..." he buried his face in my neck. "It's okay...I don't mind" I smiled as I turned around and giggled at his pajama's.

"What?" he cocked his head in the cutest way ever, "nothing...you're so adorable" I giggled as he smiled, I then kissed his nose, and he kissed my forehead. Then he placed his forehead against mine, we stayed like until I realized he had tears falling from his eyes, "Promp-..." I started but he cut me off by hugging me tightly and crying into my neck. "Don't leave me Y/n..." he sobbed as I returned the hug and rubbed his back, "Prompto...I'm not gonna leave...you know this...nothing is going to happen to us...what's going on?" I asked him as he pulled away, I placed my hand on his cheek, and wiped away a tear. "I...I had a nightmare...which is why I can't sleep..." he whispered as he kissed the palm of my hand, "let me get us some coffee and we can talk about it okay?" I smiled as he gave me a weak smile. We both got cups of coffee and sat on the couch, "talk to me, baby..." I said as he sighed, "I don't know...I was in darkness in the beginning..." he sighed as I held onto his hand. "Then...we were here...at your place, we were watching a movie when someone came in...he had long white hair...he wasn't from here. Not from Insomnia..." he was shaky, "he called me..." he clenched his jaw as he moved his hand and gripped his right wrist, "before you continue..." I started as he looked at me.
"Is this about the barcode on your wrist?" I asked him as he nodded and then sighed, "I suppose you should know..." he looked down. I cocked my head to the side (I know he doesn't find out that he was made in a lab until Episode Prompto and that this takes place long before then. But in this he knows he was made in a lab...) "I-I'm...not like everyone else..." he started, "that's a given...you have a rather unhealthy obsession with Chocobo's..." I joked as he chuckled a little, "not what I mean and Chocobo's are adorable!" he defended himself, "anyways...I-I wasn't born...I was made...in a lab...in Niflheim..." he spoke as he looked at me for any type of shocked or angry expression. But I was going through what he told me, "okay..." I said as he was taken aback, "just...okay?" he cocked an eyebrow, "Prompto...I love you for you...you're not like them...you're a crown citizen" I told him as he smiled, "anyways...the man called me his son...and you fought him trying to explain that I wasn't his son...that I was Nyx's son..." he continued with his story about his nightmare, "and that was when he told you that I was made...and you got angry...you yelled and said that I lied to you..." he started choking up, "and that you hated me...and that you never wanted to see me again..." he was crying again.
I took him into my arms and held him, "I'd never say that...I love you...don't ever mistake that..." I whispered as he clung to me. Then I looked at him, "does Noct know about..." I trailed off and he shook his head, "none of them know..." he whispered which was followed by a yawn. I got up, and grabbed a blanket and lay it over us. We fell asleep cuddling on the couch. I woke up the next morning to someone walking into the house 'it's probably Noct and them...all four have a spare key' I smiled as I clung to Prompto who was still asleep beside me, "told you he was here" Gladio whispered as Noct gave a sigh of relief, "I'm glad...he texted saying he had a nightmare...I was asleep so I didn't see it until this morning..." Noct spoke as Ignis cleared his throat, "look at this mess..." he mumbled as my eyes fluttered open, "fight me...my boyfriend had a nightmare...besides its only two half cups of coffee" I glared at the smart tall man, as Gladio chuckled, I closed my eyes trying to get back to sleep as Ignis mumbled something. I heard the clinging noise of the two cups, then footsteps retreating to the kitchen. I groaned as I went to move but Prompto's hold on me grew tighter, "no..." he mumbled as the four of us looked at him, "don't go..." he whimpered as I held onto him "it's okay baby...I'm not going anywhere" I whispered as he continued to whimper, then he jumped awake and stared at me.
"Did I wake up?" he whispered as I shook my head, "actually...Ignis did" I replied as he looked at his three friends who had concerned looks on their faces. They've never seen their happy friend like that before, "what are you guys doing here?" Prompto's voice asked filled with tiredness, "I was worried" Noct admitted as Prompto had a shocked look on his face, "I didn't see your text until this morning...so I got Gladio and Ignis. We went over to your place but you weren't there...so we came to investigate here" Noct said as Prompto gave a small smile, "thanks..." he yawned. "Are you okay baby?" I asked him as he looked over at me and his smile grew bigger, "I got to stay the night with my awesome girlfriend...I'm perfectly fine" he spoke as he gave me a passionate kiss.
