Valentine's Day ~Gladio~ *Fluff*

I was getting ready for my date tonight with my boyfriend when there was a knock on the door, "hey dude...yeah, she's still getting ready" I heard my brother speak from downstairs, I finished putting on the last bit of makeup I needed, and then grabbed my bag and the gift I got for him. I walked downstairs, I looked over at my boyfriend who blushed when he saw me. "W-Wow...you look beautiful" he stuttered as I giggled, "and you look handsome, I've never seen you with a shirt that doesn't show off your body for once" I joked as Prompto snorted, "anyways! These are for you" he handed me some flowers, "thank you" I smiled as I put them in a nearby vase, "I've also got something for you at my place..." he smiled "you can have this gift after dinner" I smiled at him as he chuckled, we were having our dinner at a fancy restaurant and then we're going to go watch a movie at his place. We left, got in the car, and headed to the restaurant. We got our seats, ordered our food, and began to eat. "So how have you been? I know I've been busy with work and haven't found the time to come see you..." he sighed as I smiled at him. "Being the king's sworn shield...it happens" I joked as he chuckled, "I don't think Noct even needs a shield...he can handle himself..." Gladio ran his fingers through his long hair.

"Come now...we both know that you're an Amicitia, it's your job...your father did it, grandfather did it, and so on..." I told him, he chuckled and stared at me. "Hopefully...should we have a child..." he started as I choked on my wine, "Whoa there big guy...you're talking about having kids already?" I cocked an eyebrow, "I mean...yeah, why not? We've been dating for more than a year..." he told me, "Gladio...it's not that I don't want to have kids with you...because I do! Trust me...you're the only one I'd ever love enough to start a family with. But, we should be married first...don't you think?" I asked him as he smirked. "That's why...I've got your third gift...w-well it's more of a question...unless you say yes to said question then it is a gift...I'm totally fucking this up..." he sighed, "Gladio, whatever it is...you can just say." I giggled at his awkwardness, "uh...h-here" he said as he slid a black velvet box to the center of the table and then opened it. Inside the box was a beautiful silver ring that held up a sapphire, 'is he seriously purposing to me?! Oh!' I smiled largely, "uh...I-I know that sapphire has always been your favorite gem...a-an Noct actually helped me pick this out...t-that is if-..." he stopped talking when he watched me take the ring out and put it on my ring finger, "Y/n Amicitia...I like the sound of that" I blushed as he grew a large smile, "I love you Y/n..." he held my hand. After that, we headed to his place where we cuddled on the couch, enjoying each other's company, "oh! That reminds me..." I then picked up his gift, I grabbed my phone and started recording.

"All right...open it" I smiled as he cocked his head, "are you recording me?" he cocked an eyebrow, "yeah! Because this is a special gift and I want to get your reaction" I explained, "uh...okay?" he removed the tissue paper and looked into the bag. The first thing he pulled out was a card, he opened it, "read it" I told him as he chuckled. " It's got a cute nose and big round eyes; It's created excitement you can't disguise; It's a wonderful creation from a perfect pair, And that's reason enough for a great fanfare. So... ta-dah! Congratulations on your new arrival?" he cocked an eyebrow as I giggled, "it'll make sense when you see the other things." I told him, he put the card on the coffee table and dug into the bag some more. He pulled out a little picture of the two of us, however, there was a circle around my stomach, and on the back it said "three is a party?" he cocked another eyebrow, "there's more" I laughed, then he pulled out the last item, it was wrapped in a paper, he unfolded the paper, and looked at the little white stick. "Wait!" he stopped and looked at me, I smiled and giggled. "Read the paper," I told him, he looked at the paper, and read the paper. "Holy shit!" he then got up and hugged me tightly. "Death hug! Death hug!" I groaned, he set me down and placed his forehead against mine. "I can't believe you're pregnant! That's amazing!" he exclaimed as I giggled. "I love you Y/n!" he smiled as I kissed his nose, "I love you too Gladio" I told him as we kissed again.
