Remus lost all his quills one day and just grabs a pen to do his essay which is TOMORROW.
Sirius: *walks in* Rem, have you seen my- what's that?
Remus: A pen Siri. A quill Muggles use to write except there's no need for a separate ink bottle.
Sirius: I want one!
Remus gets him a full Muggle stationery kit for his birthday.
And when Sirius gets home for the summer he uses it to do homework in front of his parents to piss them off and because wow these are handy I should use it all the time!
He shows James and Peter and all four of them don't use quills and ink bottles to do homework anymore.
Professor McGonagall eventually calls all four of them to her office.
McGonagall: Explain why your essays are covered with a... white substance.
James: This, my dear Minnie, is the best thing the Muggles have invented.
McGonagall: Yes but what is it?
Sirius: It is used to cross out all your mistakes.
Remus: *sighs* They're talking about white correction fluid, professor.
McGonagall: White what?
Peter: *shows McGonagall a bottle of correction fluid*
A/N: If you haven't gathered already, I went on an unannounced hiatus and I'm sorry for that, really. Inspiration was-- still is-- running low, and I felt uneasy about suddenly updating out of the blue after so long.
Anyway, there're about to be a stream of uploads to make it up (but mostly just me recycling the old headcanons, which have been deleted off Wattpad along with my old headcanon book since I shut my account down).
