• The Marauders' first time ice-skating is when a new ice-skating rink is built near James' home over Christmas and James convinces the others to try it.
• However, James Potter has never been ice-skating his entire life and with his weirdly coordinated, lanky limbs, spends most of his time falling over.
• Peter's parents used to take him ice-skating all the time so he is actually the best out of all the Marauders.
• Sirius has never been ice-skating and keeps yelling about how he is going to die every time he so much as stumbles.
• Remus doesn't fall over, but he doesn't move a lot either. He just sort of shuffles all over the place.
• "Are you sure? I can't feel my legs!" "Perfect, that's exactly how you should be feeling."
• "See you later, Potter!" "HOW--"
• Then James and Sirius decide to start racing each other across the rink and they both end up falling over.
• At one point Sirius skates over to Remus and holds onto him to stay on his feet. Remus just completely freezes up until Sirius starts moving again.
• "Hey, do you think Evans would like to-- WOAH!" "Prongs, I'm pretty sure Lily is better at skating than you."
• Sirius is the first to skate back to the stands because he cannot handle this, followed by James, Remus and a very reluctant Peter.
• "We should do this again!" "NO!"
• (But of course they do)
