Don't hate me for what is to come, that would make me sad.

Chapter 31 | Cloud.
I pulled my holy armour on and smiled softly down at myself. This was the second time I've worn this armour, only this time I wore both pieces. As I awaited the arrival of the council, I also cut my hair. Short, just below my ears.
Lucifer wouldn't be there to save me this time. I needed to be prepared.
"Cloud," Kitty said appearing beside me in a smoke screen of blue, "They're outside waiting for you. Irone and Lucy are not however – should I send for them?"
I shook my head, "I don't want them involved. They have their own clan to run. Especially since Cronas visited them."
"Understood."
I turned on my heels and left through the front doors. What I was greeted with, had my feet frozen in spot. Tears burned in my eyes and I found a lump forming thickly in my throat. They had come when I called.
Loyalty.
"I'm glad you came," I said softly, "And I will only say this now. We may not all survive, I'm giving you the chance to leave. To not fight."
"Is that really an option?" Rapan snorted, shoving her golden face up towards the sky.
I nodded, "It is. I asked and now I'm asking again. This time, I'm giving you the option."
Caden rolled his eyes, raising his massive blade up to rest it on his shoulder. His amber eyes sparkled with excitement and he rested his other hand loosely on his hip. Despite his casual demeanour, his shoulders were tense and his head was cocked slightly – he was alert. Ready for battle.
"I'm with you – until the very end I will fight for my king and queen. For my friends," he said sharply.
I didn't move. It was a hard task to hold my smile back but one that had to be done nonetheless. I stayed silent as my eyes slid over to Karasek who stood beside him. Her holy silver glowed against her dark skin. The armor consisted of a long sleeved shirt paired with a pair of shorts that rested below her knees. Over her shorts was a white kilt. Her quiver on her back. Strapped to her kilt was a white utility belt, full of different sized potions. Her holy silver boots rested just below her knees. She also wore short, fingerless white gloves. A bow in her hands, with a Her short white hair was gelled back, and her blue eyes were warm. Inviting.
"It has been a long time since I had fought. Today I will for you my friend," she told me.
Kitty's holy silver armour was a sleeveless body suit. It worried me as much of her azure skin was visible not to mention she wore no shoes, but she insisted the armour was better when she was flaring. She also held no weapon – that didn't surprise me though, as she did her whole 'summoning a dagger' act.
She smiled at me, showing off her razor teeth, "You already know I would not be anywhere else other than your side. Until my final breath."
"Count me in as well," Valor sang appearing in the door way of the palace.
My brow arched, "Where have you been?"
He gestured to the holy silver pants that hung to his hips. Other than that, he wore no shirt. Grey scars decorated his pale skin, and with his long white locks tied back, nothing was hidden. His red eyes seemed darker than normal, and I didn't miss the red liquid at the corners of his mouth.
