Part 13

We look around for Ethan at lunch but instead hear about a student being taken away by an ambulence during 1st hour.

"Ethan!" We yell running through the commons. We see Arron Patrick and Andrew sitting at their usual table.

"Wheres E?" Grayson asks them."He was taken away by EMTs a bit ago. I guess Jake Baker was trying to rape some girl and Ethan got involved," Arron tells us.

"We gotta go check on him Gray, lets go," I tug on his wrist this time."Was it you?" Arron asks and I just nod still pulling on grayson

"Alright, alright, we're going," he holds his hands up and we leave school. Gray drives us to the hospital. We ask a nurse what room Ethan is in.

After she lets us know we ride the elevator up to his floor.

Grayson holds my shaking hand as we go up the agonizingly slow elevator."Relax, don't stress him," Gray mutters and I nod only a little. We get out and find the correct room. The twins mom and dad are talking to Ethan and a doctor.

We walk in and find Ethan is on the bed leaning up.His nose is broken and his lip busted. Both of his eyes are black. His whole exposed body is covered in dark blotches."Oh god E," I run past his parents and lean over him.

He lets me take his hands in mine."You think I'm bad? You should see the other guy. He doesn't have one scratch on him but he's ugly as fuck," he giggles."Only you Ethan Dolan," I gently hug him.

He smiles up at me gently.Grayson stands behind me and quickly tells His parents who I am.

"You defended her? I'm proud of you son," His dad smiles at him."Thanks dad," E smiles triumphantly.

"Me and Liv are going to go to back to school, we'll come back afterwards," Grayson tells him."Ethan's coming home, if you'd like you to can come over for dinner," His mom tells me.

I look over at Gray and he nods, "I'd love to,"

"Great, come over about 5," she smiles and we leave. Me and Gray start the treck back to his car. I giggle still over Ethan's comment about Jake being ugly.

"What's so funny?" Gray asks as we walk."Es funny," I giggle as I open his car door.

"You're cute," he giggles back and we get in to head back to school

"How's this look?" I ask Grayson as I walk out of my room in tighter jeans and a dressy shirt."You look great Liv, its just dinner with our parents," He shrugs watching me.

"I wanna make a good impression though," I huff and sit next to him on the couch. He leans over and brushes my hair behind my ear.It's almost scary how comfortable I feel with literal murderers.

I feel closer to them than I ever did with Chloe or even Lucy.I crave to be with Grayson and Ethan when I'm not.

I'm not prepared to leave them next year. I can't imagine walking down the street and seeing Gray as a 36 year old or Ethan at 36 with families.Its not fair,

they either have to die or become twice my age. Everyone I meet here will forget me and grow up without me while I stay metaphorically trapped in time.

"We should go," I interupt my own thoughts and Grayson lets go of the hair he holds. We get off the couch and drive to His house.

Its only been 4 days since I died in this house.

Ethan and grayson's older sister Is sitting on the couch when we walk in.

"Ethans down in his room, dinner will be ready by 6," His mom tells me in the hall and we head to the basement.

I cringe seeing the chair by his bed, but fair enough I cringe more seeing Ethans bruised body."We're back," I tell him as I sit on the edge of his bed and gently pet his hair.

Gray sits beside us."Mom thinks Jake should be gutted," Gray breaks the ice.

Ethan giggles and glee enters his eyes."Oh does she?" He looks up at me.

"Shush, I'm emotional okay?" I pout.

"He assaulted you, you deserve to watch him die a slow and painful death," Ethan reassures me.

"I don't want anyone to die okay. Please promise me you guys won't cause harm to anyone,"

"You need us to promise?" Grayson asks and I nod,

"Fine, I, Grayson Bailey Dolan will not hurt anyone,"

"I, Ethan Grant Dolan , will not hurt anyone in front of you Olivia," Ethan rolls his eyes falling suit with his brother.

"Good, and I, Olivia Jade Arch will hold you to that," I giggle with my hand up like an oath.

"Lets go play Mario," Ethan sits up weak and then lays back down, "Nevermind,"

"Idiot," Grayson rolls his eyes jokingly.

"Goof," I add and we instead talk about what Ethan missed at school.I really hope they follow through with their promises.
