Lost in time G.D E.D

Part 55

Me and Grayson fall onto my couch exhausted after a full day of sight seeing in New Jersey. My head rests on his arm as we relax. 

"Remember the guy who was trying to befriend pigeons and they just shit on him instead?" I laugh at one of the first things we saw this morning, we saw a ton of wackos today. 

"Or the picketers at the airport who were like 'you're all going to Hell!'," he mocks someone else. We giggle and I curl up to him. 

"I think I'm gonna sell that gun, I had the money to buy more but I'm gonna save it. We'll fly to Arizona rather than drive," he decides and I look up at him. 

"Guess I better hurry up and apply then," I grin. He smiles wider and kisses my forehead,

"Are you sure though? Even if you aren't with Ethan anymore I know you still like shooting," 

"I have everything I want right here," he squeezes my shoulder. 

"Me too," I smile. Any second now I'll wake up in 2017, I know it.  He leans down and gently kisses me.

My eyes widen at the sudden move but I kiss him back. I reach my hand up and hold his cheek. He smiles and pulls away after a few seconds. 

"I've wanted to do that for a while," he grins and I nod and just smile. It's not that I don't like him back it's just that I haven't had a connection with a boy in over 23 years, I'm not used to that. 

"Sorry, that was just the first time since Phil..." I murmur. 

"Phil? I thought he only looked like him?" He asks confused.  Shit,

"No, his name was Phil too, coincidentally," Nice one Liv nice one.

  "Well, we could try again," he winks. I giggle and nod leaning in.

"I guess the freaks finally got together!" Jake yells as he and his friends spot us walking into school holding hands. 

"Hasn't your kid been born yet? Or are you already abandoning her?" I ask spitefully. 

"Fuck you! I'd never abandon my daughter!" He glares and pushes me. 

"Hey!" Grayson shoves Jake and he falls onto the floor,

"If you ever touch my girlfriend I'll kill you Arch!" 

"Grayson lets go," I grab his hand and tug him away from the group of boys who could break us in half, and I don't plan on dying today and starting a whole other timeline, although having a full 16 months with Grayson would have been nice. 

He kisses my hand and walks me to gym. We get to the door and see Patrick waiting for me. 

"I'll see you after, unless something happens," he guides my hand to his waist and in my mind I get freaked out he's guiding me to his dick but instead he sets in on his pocket and I groan as its worse. 

"grayson Bailey you can't have that here," I whisper touching the pocket knife,

"And you can't attack anyone, then we can't be together," 

"I know, I'll be better for you," he kisses me fast and leaves. I turn around and nearly run into Patrick. 

"You're dating him?" He asks almost angry. 

"Yeah, I am Patrick," I roll my eyes. 

"Why? Like he's my friend and all but he's not a good guy to pick," he shakes his head. 

"I don't need your opinion on who I like, Grayson has been a great friend for a while. I'll be with him if I want," I shake my head, its almost like Patrick is my father figure again, unfortunately thanks to my parents I didn't have him in my life long enough for him to disapprove of boyfriends or cars or career choice. 

Its almost nice to have Patrick acting like a father, even if I'm older than him now. 

"I'm just looking out for you," he walks away and gathers his students so I can gather mine. 

We leave class 10 minutes early to shower and I find Grayson waiting outside of the girls locker room.

I giggle and grab his hand heading to the theater,

"I'm sure thats not the first time you went into the locker room," 

"It's the most I ever wanted to," he teases back. I lay my head on his shoulder as we walk and sit down at our usual spot.

We're asked to perform the same scene as yesterday but this time we do go through with the kiss. 

"You too are even better now," Ms.Caruthers claps and watches us surprised. 

"Yeah cause they're fucking now," Zack laughs from the back. 

"Heckler you knock it off," Ms.C scolds him. Me and Grayson return to our seat and I flip off Zack next to us and he just laughs.

Patrick shakes his head in disapproval. 

"You ain't seen nothing Zachary," Grayson winks and his friend and I gasp elbowing his shoulder. 

"Rude," he pouts and rubs his shoulder. 

"Then don't make things worse Gray," I pout and pay attention to Ms.C. 

Only a few more days of class.
