"I missed her! God fucking dammit!" Grayson slams his locker after he finds the note I left for him last night.

"Relax Gray, I'm sure its not the end of the world," I rub his back glad that we're the only ones in the hallway since we got here as soon as the front doors were unlocked.

"I'm just pissed off I was too weak to stay up," he rubs his face tired. I guess he woke up around 3am and only got a little sleep before picking me up.

"You aren't weak Gray, you're human, you need your rest," I reach up and lay my hand on his shoulder. I smile up at him and nod,

"You're a strong guy,"

"Thanks Liv," he reaches up and tucks my hair behind my ear and I relax into his hand looking into his eyes.

All of a sudden I'm pulled away and Ethan's mouth is desperately on mine.

I look and notice Grayson look away quick and awkwardly. Ethan pulls away and looks up and Grayson grinning,

"Guess who got laid last night?"

"Oh great," he sighs annoyed. He walks off to the theater even being two hours early.

"Grayson wait," I frown reaching towards him.

"Let him wallow in his self pity alone, he'll come around,"

Ethan draws my attention back to him,

"The parking lot is still pretty empty, we could make use of my backseat,"

"Actually, I just remembered I had homework in Carathers, I need to go finish it," I point behind me,

"I gotta go,"

"C'mon babe, we had fu-,"

"I don't want to fail this class Ethan, if you love me you'll let me go,"

He sighs and holds the bridge of his nose,

"Fine, fine. But, we get outta here during lunch,"

"Okay, deal," I nod and run off to theater and look for Grayson. I scream finding him pulling his hair and crying, I run over and grab him,

"Grayson !"

"Why are you in here? Shouldn't you be fucking Ethan?" He spits out angrily.

"You don't know what happened Grayson," I shake my head.

"He just told me! I'm not stupid!" He glares.

"I didn't want him to Grayson, but I don't have a choice,"

"He made you?" He looks at me horrified.

"I-I don't know, I didn't want it but I also didn't fight him. I just let it happen," I sigh.

"He did," he nods and looks angry,

"Did he leave marks? Any proof?"

"No," I lie.

."Well at least he didn't mark you up, at least one of us are unscathed, you saw his cuts right?" He asks and I shake my head.

"Why not?"

"He didn't undress, nor was I really looking at him, its not something you want to know about," I persist.

"I wish you could be happy," he frowns looking down

"I'm happy around you," I reassure him and he smiles sadly up at me.

"I'm only happy when it comes to you and the girl in the notes," he admits.

"Youll find her someday,"

"Sometimes, I wish she was you," he admits. I blush heavily but try to hide it,

"So I wouldn't feel guilty for loving two girls at once,"

"You love me Grayson?" I ask and he nods. I tear up and hug him.

It almost feels like our last timeline didn't end, but then I remember the look on his face when Ethan aimed the gun at his head.

"Do you love me?" He asks.Oh no. I shift my weight on my feet unsure of my answer.

If I say no, he may kill himself or something else bad. On the other hand if I say yes he might persist on me leaving Ethan or just telling him even.

Which may result in Ethan killing him or us both.

"Its too dangerous for me to tell you," I shake my head.

"You are the note girl," he looks at me surprised. I nod and sit by him,

"So you are in love with me?"

"I've loved you since we met Gray. Theres just things you don't know about Ethan, he's more possessive than you'll ever know. If he knew we loved one another we could die. We can't risk that,"

"I'd risk anything for you,"

"Our lives are at stake, our love is at stake. He could kill just one of us and leave the other alone,"

"I can't live without you," he frowns and holds my cheeks.

"Thats why Ethan can't know," I pull away hesitantly, I immediatly miss the warmth of his hands.

"Can't we be together in secret?" He looks at me almost begging.

"No Gray, I love you so much but I can't. I'm not a cheater, even the notes were alot for having a boyfriend but I needed to express my love, no. The way I need to show you love is to keep you safe. Pleasing Ethan is the only thing that will keep you safe now. Thats my duty and devotion to you,"

"Can we continue the letters?" He asks and I nod.

"We don't need to stop those, that's ours forever,"

Sammy and Tori walk in ending our conversation. I pull away from Grayson so it doesn't look lime we're too close.

We look at each other in a new understanding.

An honest understanding.
