Within a few days we're all best friends like we were before. And once when me and Grayson are at a gas station he goes inside and I check his glove box for his journal.

Once again, January 2nd, he proclaimed his love for me. This time with a doodle of my face. I shove the journal back into the lockbox and wait.

Grayson comes back soon and starts driving to His to pick Ethan up before school. Sometimes him and Ethan pick me up, other times Grayson and I pick him up, it depends on which of us called shotgun the night before.

"Hey Dolan," I wave as he gets in the backseat. "Hey guys," he sighs looking at me up front and I grin. We head to school listening to The radio, the same songs I've been listening to for almost 3 decades, I'm excited to get my old music back.

I can still remember a little of it. A few verses from Rihanna runs through my mind once in a while.

We get to the school and see Jake and his little crew hanging out close to our parkingspot and we sigh knowing we'll have to get passed them. Jake hasn't tried anything physical like he has in other timelines but I still keep my guard up.

"Well if it isn't the freaks and their whore!" Jake yells as we walk by. Ethan keeps his head down but Grayson turns around angrily so I grab his arm.

"Its not worth it," I pull him away.

"Fuck hi-" he starts to rant.

LShut up Grayson! The three of us just need to stick together and not listen to what anyone else says to us. Focus on me and Grayson only. Don't listen to anyone outside of our circle," I hold his hand annoyed and he looks down at my hand in his.

"Lets go," Ethan sighs heading for Drama. I follow him and let Grayson hand go so he can go to his first class. Me and Gray sit and listen to Mrs. Caruthers, of course I don't actually pay attention. I lean away from him and start writing an anonymous love note to put in his locker.

I watch him a few times as I write my true feelings for him out. Of course I leave the part out about being forced to date his brother to keep him alive. I do include however that I must stay anonymous, even if he somehow finds out who I am.

I fold it up and put it safely in my pocket, I don't want a repeat of last time where Sammy found my drawing of Grayson and showed it off in class, especially if I want the plan to work out correctly.

I ask to use the restroom and leave. I put the letter in a slot of his locker and walk away fast. I took my bag with me, I'll just tell Caruthers I came back but she didn't see, and then tell her word for word what she taught if she asks whatelse happened in class after I left.

I leave school and sit at the smokers pit. I smile when Nate joins me while he cuts class too. We hang out the rest of the hour until I head back in to join Ethan for math.

I decide now is the time to jumpstart Plan Ethan. I write him a note semi nervously.

'The valentines day dance is in a few weeks, will you be my date?' I take a deep breath and slide the note over to him. He reads it and his eyes widen looking over at me. He nods his head quickly and I giggle at his enthusiasm.

After a few minutes I feel his hand grab mine under the table and I look over at him watching me sheepishly. I just grin and bear it, pretending like this is what I want.

Instead I try to think of the look on Grayson's face when he read the note. Hopefully he doesn't think its a prank. I know what I'm doing is wrong but its the last idea I have.

And I'm not lying to Grayson. I was honest when I said I liked him but can't have him. Ethan is the victim to my lies but its only fair, I've been his victim too long. This needs to end, this is the only way.
