Read last part I changed them around
I listen to Grayson's whimpers as I speed as far away from Pizzajacks as I can and then pull over on a secluded road.
I turn and look frantic at Grayson as his eyes flutter and he holds his hand over his bleeding shoulder.
"Grayson can you hear me?" I call to him worried. I lean over and move his hand to try and see how deep the wound is.
"I got stabbed in the arm, not the ear," he grunts.
"You could have been passing out," I glare and whimper as he grunts in pain. I get him to sit up and lower his jacket to remove one layer from the area,
"I need to get you to the hosp-"
"No! No hospitals, go to your house," he demands.
"Grayson! You're fucking bleeding out!" I yell frustrated.
"Just bandage it at your house," he continues.
"I can't let you die," I whine.
"Then fucking drive home and stop the bleeding!" he screams.
I immediatly step on the gas and drive to my apartment. I steal glances at the boy grunting in pain as he holds his hand over his gash.
We pull up to my house and I get out immediately helping him inside.
We take a little longer than usual but I finally get him into my bathroom and leaning on the bathtub. This isn't the first time I've patched him up but it sure is the worst.
I get his jacket off and cut his shirt off of him. He cries as I clean blood off of him and wrap gauze around him.
"A thank you would be nice," he mutters.
"Who's patching who up?" I roll my eyes annoyed.
"He could have killed you,"
"He almost killed you," I remind him as I clean up a bit and toss the rag I cleaned him up with.
"Why were you dumb enough to read his journal?" He scolds.
"I thought he was asleep, I knew you guys were going to do something worse, am I the reason it was put back?"
"Yeah, because your stupid birthday happened to be the day after we planned it. We didn't have enough ammo on the 8th anyway, it would have had to been today," he shakes his head.
"Oh boo fucking hoo, I ruined your dumb shooting," I roll my eyes.
"We were doing it for you," he glares.
"Bullshit, even if I wasn't in the picture you'd still do it. It's up to me to stop you guys. Look Grayson,"I sit next to him,
"In less than a month we get to graduate, and me and you will move to Arizona,"
"You want to go to New York with Ethan," he nearly whines.
"No, I want to come with you, we can go together,"
"We could be together," he murmurs. He looks in my eyes and then down at my lips.
"Yeah...we could be together," I nod hesitant and watch him. After what Rthan just attempted I don't want him to do the same.
Strangely, I don't feel compelled to pull away like I did from Ethan. He kisses my temple instead and stands up slowly.
"I'm gonna go get some sleep, clearly I can't go home yet," he walks off to my bedroom. I hold onto the tub a bit confused.
I know if Grayson kissed me I wouldn't have reacted the same if Ethan had forced a kiss from me earlier.
I get up and follow him in. Instead of seeing him laying down for bed I find him sifting through my Romeo and Juliet script.
"I can't believe we're doing this," he tells me quietly.
"You're the one who decided we should," I remind.
"I didn't think we would get it, aparently even when you're angry we have great chemistry," he grins.
"Go to bed Grayson," I roll my eyes and put the script away in my bookbag.
"Whatever," he mutters and lays down. I roll my eyes and walk out shutting the light off.I grab another wet rag and go out to his car to try and get his blood off his seat.
I clean it off and decide to look for any weapons in his car.
I find his coat laying in the backseat and find nothing under it or under the seats.
I even check his trunk but its empty. So the shotgun and anything else is either hidden in his room or in Ethan's room or car.
I decide to pick his lock on the glove box last and I find his registration and a book...his journal.
"Fuck dude," I look at the cover. I already got in trouble for checking Ethan's, what will I find in here? Is this even worth the risk? I've lost one, can I lose the other?
I look on the first page and see the first entry is from March 1997,
when everyone I know were all still Sophomores, almost a full year before I came back.Is it selfish to wonder if I made an impact?
Ethan's journal changed a little due to me, what about Grayson's?
Natural curiosity kicks in and I start to read, theres no going back now.
