"God," Jackson sighed, looking out the window of the large, JYP entertainment building, where reporters crowded around the entrance, simply waiting for him.
Ever since JYP announced his and Mark's break-up, it was like this. People wanted answers, but Jackson didn't feel like giving them. To be honest, he barely felt like doing anything.
Maybe, admittedly, he was a mess because of Mark's current state, but really, he was unsure. Why was he so shaken by Mark's condition?
Mark. Is he doing okay? Has he waken up?
And Jackson unconsciously found himself calling his manager.
"Yes? Jackson? You need to rest." He heard from the other line.
"Hyung, please take me to the hospital."
"Are you okay? Is something wrong?" Jackson frowned.
"No, I just want to check on something."
"Mark?" His manager sighed, "Jackson, you know you can't get in trouble with the media."
"Yeah, I know. Just, please?"
Jackson heard a pause before his manager responded, "Okay, but just this once."
"Thank you so much."

"Mark." Jackson found himself calling once he opened the door to the hospital room.
"Who are you?" A woman looked at him. Her hair was long and dark, and gray eye bags were prominent on her face. Jackson noticed that she was in a hospital gown, too.
He knew who it was from the time that Mark had switched bodies with him.
It was Mark's mother.
Apparently, after Mark had slipped into his coma, his mother had woken up, but just a few days later.
"I'm a friend. My name's Jackson Wang. Nice to meet you." the boy held out a hand with a bittersweet smile. It was sad that this was the condition that he met Mark's mother in his own body for the first time.
"Ah," The lady let out a soft smile, "Come sit over here, sweetie."
She patted a chair that was next to her. Jackson sat down quickly as told, but couldn't help but feel a little awkward.
"Do you go to Mark's school?"
"No, but we're good friends. We hang out pretty often."
"Ah, so you're who Mark's been visiting after school. I thought that maybe it'd be a girl. A girlfriend, perhaps?" She let out a strained chuckle.
Jackson looked down. Yeah, of course Mark's mother would expect him to have a girlfriend, not a boyfriend. Mark was probably straight, too. But why did that bug Jackson so much?
"Sorry, excuse me," Jackson told Mark's mom, leaving the room to take a breath.
As soon as he opened the door, Jackson noticed a man limping down the hall. He rushed over to help, "Excuse me, do you need help?"
"I'm okay, thanks." the man looked up. His and Jackson's eyes widened simultaneously.
"You." Jackson seethed accusingly, "You made us crash!"
"What? It was only an accident, I swear!" His eyes widened. Jackson recognized him as the cab driver from earlier.
"If you didn't take your eyes off the road, then Mark wouldn't be like this!" Jackson pushed the man against the wall.
"Look, i'm only a student. Please, i'm having trouble with my own hospital fees. I don't want anymore trouble."
Jackson growled but let the boy go. "What's your name?"
"My n-name? Youngjae."
"Well, Youngjae," Jackson narrowed his eyes at the boy, "You better watch yourself."
He pushed Youngjae and walked back to the room without giving the other a chance to respond.
