                   *a year later*

I woke up on a bright morning hearing birds chirping. I got up and said good morning to Mac who I just now call my dad. He had been taking care of me, and he's grown on me since. I followed my dad to the hunting grounds. He did teach me how to hunt over the course of the year which was useful for me.
I dug in as we took one down. I had also grown a bit too, but Dad was still twice my size. My fur was even fluffier. I had also begun to know the other Death Eaters. They called me Fluffybean because I was so fluffy and adorable. I didn't mind. In fact I found it fitting for me. "Can I run around for a bit Dad?" I asked. "I guess you could," he replied.
I ran around and ran to the neighborhood of Grant's Glen. I saw the ruins of my old house and put my ears down remembering the time when it had burnt down trapping my owners and parents inside. I whined a bit and travelled up the hill. I also kept thinking about that wolf dog. He kept appearing in my dreams, and I don't know why. But I gotta say he looked quite handsome. I think that must be it because I couldn't get him off my mind. Nott even a year after I first saw him on the hill behind my house.
I kept on moving until I saw a group of strays. I almost yelped. They were the same ones who raped me a year ago. They had come back to do it again. I knew it. I whined and pinned my ears back. "Look who we have here!" the leader said. "L-leave me a-alone.." I said trembling. "Aww the poor baby's scared," he taunted. The dogs surrounded me. I looked around for the leader, but I didn't see him. All of a sudden he tackled me and began to rape me. I whined.
The strays snickered. I cried out for help. And it was answered. I looked up to see that same wolf dog from back before. The same one from my dreams. I watched my eyes wide as he tackled the dog leader off of me grabbing his throat. The other dogs jumped back in shock. The wolf dog kept holding onto the leader's neck until his body went limp. He then turned to the other strays. "ANYONE ELSE!" he snarled. The strays all yelped and ran off. The wolf dog turned to me. "Are you ok?" he asked me. "Y-yes." I was still in amazement. I took a good look at him. He was indeed that same wolf dog. He had the same features: the scars, looks, and all. "The name's Nightfang, but you can call me Night." "I'm Avery." I just stared at him. He had saved me. I was afraid of him at first, but now I'm Nott. I still wondered why he had stared at me when I was still a young pup. That I will find out soon, but for now I'm safe thanks to Night.
