Avery's Story

Chapter 25: 6 Months Later

                 [Avery's POV]
     6 months had passed since I had my pups. I was watching them play around. Jimin came over to me. "Go tackle your dad," I whispered to him. "Ok." He went over and then snuck up on Night and jumped on him. Night laughed. "He told me to do it," Jimin said, pointing at me. "Jimin you weren't supposed to tell," I snickered. Night shook his head.
     "Don't worry Teddy Bear. He'll do it again." Night whispered something to the other pups, and they ran and tackled me. I giggled. "Teddy Bear." I then looked over to see Dad bringing in food. "Yay! Dinner time!" Jimin ran over and started eating. The other pups ran over. "My goodness! This was for your parents, but ok then," Dad said. "Let them have it, Dad. We'll get something."
     Night followed me outside. Dad had warned me Nott to go outside alone and to always travel with someone. I went over to the carnival. Night growled at the humans warning them to stay away from me. But they didn't seem like they were gonna hurt me. We then went to the hunting grounds. I helped Night take down an elk. My face was covered in blood. I giggled as Night started to lick my face clean.
     "Teddy Bear stop it," I laughed. He smirked. "You aren't serious if you're laughing about it." I giggled. "C'mon. Let's go to our favorite spot." "But Teddy Bear. We just went out for food." "Let's just take a little walk." "Fine." We went to the couch on the hilltop. I smiled as Night wrapped his arms around me.
     I licked Night's cheek, and he smiled. I nuzzled my head under his chin. He kissed my forehead. I giggled. "You have such a cute giggle," Night said, looking down at me. I wagged my fluffy tail. "I'll take over the world with my cuteness," I said smiling up at him. "Oh no," Night chuckled. "C'mon. Let's go back home," I said, getting up.
     We soon arrived back home. "Oh. You're back. What took you so long?" Dad asked. "Teddy Bear wanted to go for a walk." "Oh. Did he?" Jimin was busy play fighting with Apollo. I nuzzled each of the pups as they came over to me and Night. "Still can't believe I'm a grandpa," Dad said. "Get the old man," I told the pups. Dad laughed as I said that. "Avery. You silly child." I giggled as the pups jumped on Dad. It was nice to see them having fun. It reminded me of my parents and my sisters, Holly and Brownie. Oh how I missed them so much. I sighed, walking out and laying on the porch....
