(So this chapter is gonna be from not only Avery's POV but also Katie's POV.)

           *one month later*

Another month has passed. I had gotten even fluffier since I was born. My sisters always joked that I looked like a walking talking puffball. I giggled finding it funny. My left ear remained bent, and I don't know why it stayed that way. All I could understand was that it made me look cuter.
Katie soon called us to breakfast. "Eat up! We're gonna go for a walk afterwards!" She said. A walk? Sounds great! I barked and wagged my tail. Katie laughed. Me and my sisters made a mess with our food. We were only puppies after all. "Clean up your mess you silly puppies," I heard Makayla say. I ate the rest of my food and went over to the door scratching at it. "You're all ready to go aren't you?" Thomas said looking down at me. I barked again wagging my tail.
Katie clipped our leashes on, and took us out. My parents were well-trained and didn't need to be put on the leash, but we did. I heard the door open again, and Thomas, Danny, and Makayla all came out. We enjoyed a little walk down the sidewalk. "Who wants to go to the dog park?" Katie asked looking down at us. The dog park? I've never been to a dog park before. It must be a fun place. Me, Holly, and Brownie all barked and yipped. "Dog Park it is then," Katie chuckled.
We walked down the road before reaching a place with a lot of dogs in it. This must be it. Katie led us through and took off our leashes. "Now be careful you guys," she said. "C'mon Guys lets play a game," I said. "What kind of game?" asked Holly. "How about sardines in a tin?" "What's that?" "Someone hides, and then we try to find them, but when you do, you hide with them like sardines in a tin." "Oh let's play." I hid first. I ran and found a bush and jumped in it. I giggled. "Avery where are you?" I heard Brownie call. I giggled again. Brownie turned her head towards the bush I was in and went over. "Aha! Found you!" she said and jumped in the bush with me. "Where did you guys go?" asked Holly. "SURPRISE!!" Me and Brownie said popping out of the bush. "AHHHH!!"  Holly screamed jumping and turning around to face us. Brownie and I laughed.
"That was fun! Who's next?" asked Holly. "Ummm....Brownie you hide first," I said. "Ok!" We kept playing, and other puppies that were there soon joined in our little game. Soon it was my turn to hide again. I hid in another bush this time. I heard some noises but ignored them then felt water on my nose. It began to rain. "Avery!! Holly!!! Brownie!!!!" I heard Katie call for us. Time to go already? Awww, but we were having so much fun! I hadn't realized I had ran far enough away and now couldn't find my way back to the entrance. My fur got soaked wet. One human even mistook me for a stray since I had no collar on. "Hey there. Are you lost sweetie?" she asked. I whined as she clipped a leash on me leading me away. I barked. "Holly, Brownie, Mom, Dad??" I whined again.
We got a little ways until she took me inside her house. I trembled with fear. The woman put a towel around me. I saw her other dogs curiously sniff me, and I backed away my tail between my legs. What's going to happen to me? What is this woman gonna do?

                   [Katie's POV]
I looked around for Avery. "Avery? Avery where are you?" I turned to my husband. "Any sign of him?" I asked. "Nope sorry," he replied. "What are we gonna do?" Makayla asked. "I don't know, sweetheart." The truth was, I didn't know. I hope he didn't go far.
