I cried still laying under the abandoned truck. I couldn't find food and water. I was too weak to move. I could see my bones showing through my fur. When I did try to get up, I wobbled and fell back down. I just laid there slowly waiting for when I would starve to death.

                *one week later*

Another week passed. I was so weak it hurt for me to breathe. I looked like a walking skeleton. Anybody that walked by just walked right by me not giving a care in the world that I was very close to death. Occasionally I saw some stray dogs walk past, but they didn't give a care in the world either.
I laid there for another hour or two until I saw the figure of another dog. I looked to see he had a limp leg, and he was HUGE. Literally so massive in size. And he had a scar on his muzzle. I saw him stop and sniff around. He came closer to the truck catching my scent. He laid down peeking under. "Hello," he said looking at me. "H-hello," I said my voice cracking a bit. "Am I scaring you?" he asked. "A little bit," I said trembling. "Oh I'm sorry. Btw the name's Macnair, but you can call me Mac." "I-I'm A-Avery..."
Mac took one look at me and gasped noticing how bad my condition was. "Oh you poor thing! I need to take you back to headquarters!" "Headquarters? Headquarters for what?" "The Death Eaters." "The Death Eaters?" "Yeah." Mac reached under the truck picking me up by the scruff and ran towards a yellow trailer. He ran inside where another wolf, or wolf dog, was sleeping. Mac put me down, and I looked at him. The wolf dog slowly opened his eyes. "What is it now Mac?" he grunted. "Forgive me Amycus, but I was just out and I found this little guy." He looked down at me. I looked at the wolf dog. Was his name really Amycus? I crawled behind Mac whimpering. What can I say? He looked quite intimidating. He had a ton of scars all over his face and body, and both of his ears were torn. He moved his head to look at me. "It's ok, little one. I'm Nott gonna hurt you," he spoke calmly(see what I did there >:D).
I slowly moved closer. "What's his name?" Amycus asked Mac. "Avery," Mac answered. "He's in critical condition. May he stay here?" "Hmm I guess, but go get him something to eat first." "Will do." I saw Mac run out. Amycus turned to me. I stepped back a bit Nott knowing whether or Nott to trust him. "It's ok," he reassured. "Mac said something about a headquarters for the Death Eaters? Who are the Death Eaters?" Amycus smiled. "Why you're talking to one. I'm the leader of the Death Eaters, and Mac is one of my packmates." "Oh." "So your name's Avery hm?" "Y-yes sir." Amycus smiled again. "Call me Amycus."
Mac came back in the door with plenty of food and water. "Here. You ever tried elk before?" I shook my head. "Try it. It's good." I did and found it quite delicious. I finished the rest in a matter of minutes and quickly washed it down with the water. "My goodness!" Amycus said. Mac looks down at me. "Don't worry. I'll make sure you make a full recovery. I'll take care of you."
