Chinmayi's POV:

OMG!

It's Deepak!

That Deepak!

The D of Deepak...

I mean...

Aah...

You know what I mean right?

That very Deepak...

You know, the Deepak who didn't dare show his face to me-
The Deepak who wasn't even affected by the shadow casted by my presence-
His brother is actually like Lord Ram, so shouldn't he be Lakshman?

Of course he is-

The greatest epitome of arrogance...

What do I do?

Those two eyes which in reality didn't even care to glance at the angle of that area where I stood, but now it's piercing right at me!

I stood there, a strange, unfriendly feeling filled with pain, disappointment and fate conquered every inch of my heart as I trembled.

What do I do?

Am I bound to this kind of relationship forever?

What about my dreams?

It's not that I had a dream guy in my tiny little head, but you must ask Megha, she knows my choice and taste, so really, Deepak merely is a living soul of The Unknown.

{Capital T, capital U}.

"Hello?

He-hello Chinmayi?"

Oh good Lord! So this is how his voice sounds like.- And he just said MY NAME.

Chinnu- Respond! Respond!!

Just then, to save me from all sorts of embarrassment, came my two awesome brothers, Vivek and of course Charan.

"Hi Deepak! How have you been doing? Hope you reached home on time?", asked Vivek Bhai.

" Yeah Vivek, thank you. My brother wanted to wish Megha for her birthday. I mean we are family now, so, he said it would be great if we could catch up on such important and special occasions. ", Deepak said this with a smile.

Literally people, his lips exercised wide and a bit upwards tangentially.

SMILE.

Seriously I didn't know how to even react, I just stood there holding the phone while Vivek Bhai and Charan continued to talk.

"Oh, that's mighty kind of you! Of course you can. Megha, she's right here.", said Charan.

Megha swiftly came in front of the phone, as she sat in between Charan and me.

"Namaste Deepak ji", she said with folded palms.

I felt Charan putting his head down and smile in pride as his love of his life carried and portrayed culture every single time and super implicitly, and most importantly, undictated.

"Hey Megha, Many more happy returns!"

"Thank you, Deepak Ji. Sorry that you had to stay awake after a really long day, just to wish me."

"Oh, please, we are family now, no such formalities and please call me Deepak. The additional 'Ji' makes it all super weird and I feel old."

"Oh!", chuckled Megha as she continued, "You are our Jamaai Saahab. So, it is our duty being the girl's side to give you the respect..."
