Deepak's POV:

Hi my name is Deepak Joshi and I am a player. Well, you heard me right!  Being born in an orthodox family full of doctors, it has taken the life from me.

I never got the care and attention that other children used to get from their parents and I find it quite ironical that they save others lives. How about saving their own sons, for once?

I was always a loner and I craved to create my own identity where my parents or brother is not even in the picture. To every typical Indian parent, their son should either be a doctor or an engineer. But if you are the son of legend doctors, you are left with no choice but to dress up in a white coat, wear a stethoscope and hang out with blood, prescriptions and IVs!

Frankly speaking, is it essential to for a doctor's son to always be a doctor?
Also what is wrong with Engineering, huh? Why are we trolled so much?

I wanted to this become the best in a completely unknown field to my parents and yet be praised by the society and this was my driving force, since my childhood! Honestly, this drained away my innocence and made me who I am. Frankly, I am proud of it!

Party.

Girls.

Money.

Independence.

Isn't this a life anybody would dream for? Tell me, what's wrong with it?

Until, my mother, with her emotional sentimental blackmail, called me back here and said that Eeshwar likes a girl , who is from a rich family and she has a younger sister who would be perfect.

To be honest, I didn't care, until when I saw Chinmayi for the first time. I didn't know whether she could deal with a emotionless, heartless man!
She really seems like this sentimentally stirred person!

So here it goes, she is totally not my type!

How can I take away her innocence with my "fuck and that's all" kinda attitude?

She timidly waited until everyone boarded their respective cars not knowing what her future was beholding or what thoughts were spinning in my head. It was only her and me waiting in the garage and she was patient-extremely patient for me to start the conversation!

"Hey!"

She just looked at my face without knowing how to even respond.

"You can talk right?", I almost snapped at her.

She looked bewildered. Somehow I wanted to warn her before it's all too late. As I unlocked the car, I opened the passenger seat door for her.

Why such a mixed response?

Hey, I am a player not a mannerless jerk!

As she meekly sat I came over to the driver's seat and  as we settled in, I started the engine. The drive was very very silent. I knew she was nervous, but she did look beautiful. But to be bound to her under the institution of marriage, I found it very silly.

Since we were the last ones to leave, there was no one following us and I thought, this is the right time to let her know.

It's better to break the truth rather than beat around the bush right?
