Chinmayi's POV:

The thing about fleeting moments is that, it just happens and moves on. But what hurts the most is that, you are still stuck in that moment. The pain could be inflicted on both happy and sad moments. This feeling will persist until you have actually chosen tk acknowledge the present moment.

Hi, this is Chinmayi Sharma and welcome to my story. I had a desired life drawn for me. Well, probably that was the most selfish thing that I did. Was it or was it not? You tell me.

Everyone around me is either over excited or feeling peaks of sympathy for me, but can a person who is comfortably numb ever try to emotionally reciprocate to both these explicit extreme of actions?

The answer is no.

On a serious note, this is what I feel. I am genuinely happy for the three most important souls of my life have got their dreams come true. Charan, Megha, Bhabhi, Veera and me were waiting at the entrance of the mansion as Bhai went to bring our car.

Veera gently nudged me and looked into my eyes. Well, this si the first time that we are actually  together after the incident. Her eyes spoke both happiness and as it met mine, I saw the emotion fumbling.

"I am so sorry...", she mumbled.

Frankly speaking I didn't expect Veera to apologise. She is as innocent as everyone in this. But how do I explain to to her?

"Hey, it's not your fault. Veera, you are my sister and I am so happy for you. You deserve this, for all the sacrifices you have made. Don't worry about me, and aren't we going to be in the same house? Well isn't that a good thing?", I spoke this so fast and in a tone that only she could hear.

She gently smiled.

"Deepak is a good guy Chinnu...", she breathed.

"Oh-"

And before I could think of more words, Bhai was waiting with the car as we hopped in one after the other into our Innova.

Bhai kept the Google Maps on to the location that was shared by Eeshwar ji to him.

"Well, look at us, first we used to hang out with ourselves and now, with two girls getting married, we have to go to their in-laws for more celebrations!", Cooed Bhai.

Everyone smiled and as Bhabhi turned on the radio to play some good music everyone started humming the tunes while letting the fresh breeze of Bangalore's air soak us in thoughtless bliss.

Veera got a call from Eeshwar ji and from his voice, it was pretty clear that the whole family was excited to meet us.

Is he excited?

Well, a meek voice peeked unnoticed from inside my head.  Only time can answer. As Veera said, he might be a good person, who knows? Shouldn't I be giving him a chance?

That's the only mantra that put me to sleep yesterday night. I slowly felt a hand on my knee. It was Megha. She looked radiant today, of course, it was her birthday and all, but with Charan by her side, she was just glowing.

Probably this is what the spark of love does and the only other couple I have seen this on, is Bhai and Bhabhi. Well, is this the work of cupid?

"So, Veera, when are you going to tell us about your loooove story with Eeshwar ji?", teased Charan.

"Ya ya, I was about to ask the same thing!", squeaked Bhabhi.

"Well, you know it's not a love- love story kind of thing!", she blushed.

"Come on! Not to us!",  said Charan.

"It would be my birthday gift, please tell...", asked Megha.

"Come on now, Veera, you can't deny the birthday girl! Can you?", I said.

She blushed harder.

"Well, frankly I didn't expect his parents to directly ask our family... We were not in a relationship per se, well you guys know me. My prayer was, if he is the right guy, then let the Lord Himself decide..."

"I understand... ", said Megha empathically.

Bhabhi and me 'ooohed'!

It was like teasing three people at once {Charan's the third person if you are wondering!}

Really, it felt so good to be around these people in normal terms.

"Continue-", said Bhai. "Let me listen to the story of my sister growing up!"

"Come on, you married my best friend!", said Veera.

"Yes, now that makes me even more responsible and keen in your story...", said Bhai.

"Well, you know that during the accident-", she stiffened for a moment and so did everyone else, and she slowly turned towards Charan and he gently nodded.

"Well, that's when I met him. He used to give me updates on Bhai and Diya. I was so lost in everything. I felt responsible. I was sinking in darkness, seeing the amount of pain that all of you were undergoing. Charan, the sacrifices you made, and you, Megha, I was getting to know you better then, Chinnu was growing up and think about Anirudh and Akhila too...

My heart always shattered when I saw all the elders sitting in front of the Lord and praying with so much fervour and faith to get you both back, Diya.

Eeshwar ji, he just understood the whole thing, even without me telling him. He tried to make me see the positive side of everything. He showed me that my family is much more closer now, and it's that faith that is bringing you both back. And, somehow, he was right!

He showed me that doctors are just another set of ordinary people, but really it's the patient's family's faith that does the magic. His simplicity made me respect him. His humbles made me adore him. His confidence and knowledge made me look up to him.

Choti Ma liked him too and whenever Eeshwar ji entered the hospital, she'd give some reason and give us some alone time. She was the real cupid, to be frank.

We were really good friends, but secretly, we wished for more. I think it was too evident to everyone and this happened!"

There are a silence and then a loud cheer!

Her story was genuinely honest. She deserves happiness. And if that means, I have to marry this unknown brother of Eeshwar Joshi, I am ready to do this.

On that note, I saw Bhai slowly parking the car in front of a beautiful house, with a small board that said, 'Joshi's'.
