I couldn't just leave her. The lads accepted my decision to not travel with them to Ireland tonight. They all watched her be put on the stretcher and gave Charlotte their well wishes. The couple who was in the vehicle that hit her was taken into custody, for their BACs were over the legal limit. Will and I hopped into the back of the ambulance with Charlotte still unconscious. I looked at her fragile body, covered in bruises, scars, and blood. I took her now cold and lifeless hand in mine.
"Please, you can't leave me now," I said with tears forming in my eyes.
The ambulance put on its lights and siren as it took off into the direction of King George's Hospital.
