I was about to head out of the sliding doors into the ton of screaming girls until I heard panic behind me.
"Patient in room 64 in the ICU has just woken up," a man in said in a lab coat while heading towards the elevator.
"That's Charlotte's room," I said to the guys. "Charlotte!" I said moving past the lads and back into the hospital.
"Ashton," they said in unison, chasing after me. The commotion outside got even rowdier as the security prevented them from entering the building.
"Where are you going?" Luke asked when I pushed the elevator button.
"She's awake! She's alive," I said getting into the elevator as soon as it opened.
"What are you talking about?" Michael asked with a confused look on his face. "How do you even know?"
"I just overheard someone say so," I said trying to gather my thoughts. "They said her room number and that she had just woken up."
We reached Charlotte's floor and I ran to room 64. I could see through the glass walls that nurses were attending her as well as the man who said that she had awoken and Will. I opened the door and rushed in.
"Charlotte!" I said with a smile and happy tears.
