Lena's P.O.V
My grip on Ben's arm got tighter when Erick walked closer to us. " Erick you don't have to do this." I croaked out. He just laugh still the gun pointing at us.
" Oh Lena. Don't you see that I don't have anything to lose if I do this." My heart was racing in my chest and I could feel my legs shaking.
" My dad's friends from the police station came to our door and said that I was guilty on raping you, because of some test you did on DNA, so they can come to my door any moments to arrest me. I have nothing to lose if I shoot you two, at least you two will be gone and I know that I have won." I swallow hard when he loaded the gun putting his finger on the trigger.
" Why don't you just kill me instead of her. It's thanks to me that she don't want you." Ben said pulling me more behind him. I don't want him to die for me.
If Erick would shoot he should shoot the both of us. My hand went to his holding it tight. " Do you think I'm stupid. I don't want her anymore and it's better for everybody if she dies with you. That's what she wanted right? To die." Erick took another sip from the bottle throwing it away when it was done. The glass shatter everywhere.
I never know that I wanted to life so badly until now. All those time I wish that I was dead repeat in my head over and over. You know what they said be careful what you wish for. " I would say any last words, but I don't want to hear it." Not a second later a gunshot when off. I hold my breath waiting for the next thing that would happen. A nother gun shot whent off with Ben falling down holding his stomach.
" No!"
I cried falling on my knees next to him. There was allot of blood running out his stomach. " Ben?" Tears were blocking my vision. I don't want to lose him.
His chest was raising up and down while he open his eyes. He looked at me and saw the tears running down my cheek.
" Hey don't cry." He whisper wiping the tears from my cheek. He had to put all his strength in raising his hand to my cheek. I grabbed his hand holding it against my cheek.
" Ben I'm scared." I whisper closing my eyes. I hear him chuckle while stroking my cheek with his thump. I bit my lip wiping the tears away.
" Don't be scared I'm here with you." And when he said that something inside of me came to peace. It wasn't afraid anymore to face Erick. I nodded my head sobbing a little. Someone pulled my hair making me let go of Ben.
" It's your turn Lena to suffer." I wasn't going to satisfied him by being scared of him, so all I did was smile at him with a blankly expression in my eyes.
" You're so fucked up." He put the gun against me and pulled the trigger.
For a long time I could feel anything. My body was numb. There was no pain and I didn't know where I was shot. Until I started to cough up blood. I wasn't shot in my stomach, but higher next to my heart were my long was.
My breaths was short after each other and the world was spinning. I didn't even notice that I felt to the floor until I looked next to my and saw Ben. He said something, but I couldn't hear it.
The world was in slow motion for me. I saw Erick running away when two cops cars came driving up the parking. Someone most have hear the gunshots and called the cops. I look back to my side when I felt someone touching my hand.
Ben was holding my hand giving me a small smile. The lasting I did or could do before I passed out was telling him something he had to know before it was too late.
" I love you." I whisper loud enough so that he could hear it. After that I close my eyes, but I heard him answering just in time.
" Love you too."
Ben P.O.V
She passed out when I said those words with a small smile on her face. Police man came running to us while other went running after Erick. I could hear time calling for the ambulance to come here when I hear other sirens.
I still had Lena's hand in mine when they looked to our wounds. They put a oxygen mask on me. " Take him to the ambulance." Someone said, but I didn't want to leave Lena's side.
" No take care of her first. Save her." I said weakly while the put me on a stretcher. I let go of her hand making it fall to the ground. " I'm sorry kid they gave me orders to take care of you." One of the ambulance men said.
They put me in the ambulance and drove to the hospital. Tears run down my cheek knowing that I leaved her there.
When we arrive at the hospital they immediately brought me to the operation room. Everything was bright from the light above me and I didn't notice that it was hard for me to breath until now. My longs and stomach were on fire.
They cut my shirt open to look at my stomach. I hear the my heart monitor beeping every second. A I.V when in to my arm trying to kill my pain. I heard screaming from the room next to me. A doctor came running in saying that the girl is losing allot of blood and that they are losing her.
My eyes was getting heavier, but I know that they were talking about Lena. " You have to save her. " I said removing the masked form my mouth.
A nurse came to me immediately putting the masked back on. " They doing the best they can." A burning sensation went through my body making me scream. The heart monitor began to beep faster.
I couldn't say anything anymore and the next thing I knew I passed out. The last thing I heard was the nurse shouting something to the doctor.
" We're losing him."
After that all I saw was darkness before passing out.
