The darker

My mental state started to worsen. I tried to stay away from the Army. I could tell they were all scared of me, few dared to come in my office anymore.
One day, I decided I wasn't going to go to headquarters or school for that matter.
I locked the door to my house and started to dose into sleep.
"Wake up, Red...." echoed in my ear
Pen's alter was here
"What on earth do you want?" I asked
"Oh my darling girl, I just want to wish you sweet dreams."
"It can never be that simple with you people."
" The only thing that can never be simple is you, Dear Red."
"Hello Everybody I see we are having a nice conversation." Dusk's alter said introducing herself with a grand entrance
"Can you people just let me sleep?" I asked
"Afraid not, Red. You're right it's never that simple."
I got up and shuffled to my closet, putting on my regular clothes and put a hoodie over it all.
I walked down to HQ. I worked on organizing all my drafts for about an hour before my eyes slowly slipped closed. I awoke hazily and was now on the little couch in my office covered up by a blanket. I looked around for anyone who might've put me here
"You looked exhausted, Red." I heard from the doorway
There stood Pen looking over my weak body. I hadn't been eating much either and was losing weight rapidly. I was pale my eyes were sunken into their sockets, were red, and burned every time I blank.
"We all know something is going on." Pen continued coming into the office and quietly sitting in front of me.
"When was the last time you actually slept well? It certainly has been quite awhile because you were out of it when I passed by. I had to move you, I couldn't bare to see a leader like yourself be like that..." Pen asked
"A few days, maybe a week at most." I replied
"Red.... What is happening to you? Whatever it is, you need to give the Army an explanation. When you're like this we all run around this place like chickens with our heads cut off."
I nodded
Then after awhile I went to Dr. Jekyll's. He greeted me with open arms.
" Have a great day, Red?" He Asks quietly
I simply shook my head.
" Oh." He says simply " maybe you should go, not to be rude. Hyde isn't feeling his best."
I nodded "Give him my well wishes."
Jekyll nodded " Sure thing."
I then left the house and walked to my house. A sharp pain over came me but I knew I wasn't changing it didn't feel like it would from what both Hyde and Jekyll described.
I looked down at my toes and like vines a black substance was starting to climb up from my feet.
Would I just grow and be consumed by all my different demons? Did I actually have an alter of my own? I didn't know anymore

So yeah hope you enjoyed
