To give a little bit of a happy/ Excited moment

I have a very special announcement dealing with Thepurplepen13 and I at the end of this chapter! This chapter might give you guys a hint!
I decided I wanted to get off of my Edgar Allen Poe-like phase. Mostly influenced by Skit. Anyway, I decided to go to a more romantic genre. Those books made me all fluttery inside.
So..... I started reading at night and was soon asleep... in my office. The next morning Pen must've been surprised by the scene, she tried to shake me awake.
"Red! Wake up!" She whined
I groaned and sat up "When did you get here? What time is it?"
"It's 8 and just about ten minutes ago, sleepyhead!" She giggled
I blushed slightly
Dusk came in and saw the following
Me, blushing while holding a book and Pen sitting beside me.
"Are you two?-" She stops herself and smiles
"You are, aren't you?" She asks
Pen and I were still clueless "Are we what?" I asked almost afraid for the answer.
"Dating?" Dusk elaborates
My face turns a darker shade of red and Pen's is pink.
I choke up at my answer. "I- um. I- we."
I then go silent
"How long?" Dusk asks
"Since yesterday." I smile quietly
Dusk's smile widens and she almost tackles Pen and I as we're both overloaded with questions
"Who confessed feelings first?"
"Was it an immediate answer?"
"Have you told the RA?"
"Will you?"
"Can I help?"
I calm her down " Look it's not a huge deal."
"OF COURSE ITS A HUGE DEAL! YOU'RE DATING!" Dusk exclaims

So.... Surprise? We're dating! When I told Pen I wanted to tell you guys I was like
'How should I do it?' And she was like ' I don't care' so this seemed like the best option
Hope you guys support us and we hope it wasn't that much of a shocker
