The knife pt. 1

"There you go, iced, sweet tea just like you like it, Red." Jekyll smiles handing me a cup
" Thank you." I smile
"You're welcome," He smiles back "I think you're all cleaned up as well."
I jump down from the examination table. I heard a honking outside
" Well... looks like your ride is here!" Jekyll exclaims
"But my truck's outside-"
"Doesn't matter, now come on." Jekyll says excitedly opening the door for me.
I look outside and see a black car, polished and looking like it was just taken out of a package or shipped right from the dealership.
I tensed, Was the FBI coming for me?
The engine revved and a couple honks followed.
I looked in the drivers seat, Dusk.
"DUSK, BE CAREFUL! IT'S ALREADY CLOSE TO FALLING APART!" I heard Angelina yell
A silence followed then a yell
"Come on, Red! Get in!" Dusk shouted
I walked up to the door to the backseat. I opened it and smiled, seeing Pen, Shadow, Angelina, and Dusk smiling back at me.
I got in and could feel the engine's soft purr beneath my feet.
"What kind of car is this? And who stole it?"
"Glad you asked.... A 67 CHEVY IMPALA! And... it's my new car." Angelina boasted with pride
I smiled weakly
Pen noticed my distress immediately
"Skit?" She asks
I nod quietly "yeah."
She looks at me "Don't worry."
Dusk steps onto the gas petal causing the car to lurch forward. Angelina's skin turns pale and I dart to find something to hold onto.
"DUSK, THE SPEED LIMIT?!?" I scream
"THE LAW DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU'RE WITH US, REDDER! HAVEN'T YOU LEARNED THAT WITH ME YET?!"
" YOU'LL GET US ALL KILLED!"
"Good point..."
Dusk then slows down
Angelina looks over at her
"Pull over."
Dusk's smile turns into a look of shock "What? Why?"
"PULL... OVER!" Angelina screams and Dusk instantly pulls over
Angelina gets out and goes and walks to the drivers side
"PASSENGER SIDE, NOW, DUSK!"
"What? why?"
Angelina looks at Dusk and I swear I could see flames, now I really understand why Angelina was dressed as Hyde for halloween. Dusk grumbles as she goes to the passenger side.
"Oh and Dusk," Angelina said as Dusk got in the car "You'll be paying for gas."
"What! No fair!" Dusk yelled
"Is to fair! You could've killed us! You're lucky Red loves you or else you'd be walking down the highway!"
Dusk turns around in her seat and smiles at me
"Thanks, Red."
I smile back
We stop at a place I had never seen before
It was bright and colorful.
"What is this place?" I ask
Dusk and the group pull me inside, I realized it's a small restaurant. As we walk in Death Of A Bachelor By Panic! At The Disco starts playing, although now there's a little more Panic! Than Disco now. Poor Brendon Urie.
Dusk smiles, I know for a fact this is her favorite band. My ambiverted self sits and watches as the smile on her face gets bigger as she looks at us. We order our food, I wait until the group starts eating to start eating myself.
We we all finish. I volunteer to pick up the check.
"I'll get it." I said pulling out my wallet.
"No, No, Red, I'm getting it." Dusk says pulling out the money
"I want to pay!" I exclaim
"REDDER21, I AM PAYING AND THAT'S THE END OF IT!"
I let her pay. Pen grabs handcuffs and handcuffs us together.
"Pen? What are you doing?" I asked
"Making sure the Red Army's fate isn't at stake." She replied
"Pen, it was just a little argument..." Dusk says
"An Argument that could've risked the Army!" Pen counters
"Whatever.... we can survive, Right, Dusk?"
"Pfft. Being handcuffed to you is my nightmare."
"Yeah.... mine too." I said looking down
We dragged ourselves back to the car. This time Shadow was in the front. She hadn't said a word.
"Shadow? You Alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just.... waiting."
"For what?"
" My time to strike, Red."
I nodded, I felt Skit's presence looming over me.
We went to HQ seen as Jekyll and Hyde were probably busy with Dylan.
I got out of the car and felt something sharp enter my shoulder. I turned around in pain to see Shadow with a bloody knife in her hand.
I was bleeding "I just wanna sleep..." I whispered quietly
Angelina and Dusk looked very concerned "Come on let's get you inside." They say steering me towards the door. I backed out.
When I awoke bright lights hurt my eyes. As they adjusted I could see the following Angelina in the doorway, Dusk in the chair at my bedside, Pen in the other chair on the other side of me, Griffin in the corner, and Shadow leaning against the wall.
"Red!" They all exclaimed as they saw me open my eyes
I looked up to Shadow and she was quiet.
"Shadow, Why?" I asked
"You were Skit!" She protested
All the people in the room turned their heads towards her.
"How could you mix up Skit and Red?" Griffin grumbles under his breath.
Shadow takes her blade and charges at me again
She strikes Angelina's hand causing blood to start pouring out.
"GET OUT!" I screamed at Shadow
She looked around helplessly and then ran out the door.
"Shadow, wait!" Pen exclaims running after her.
I look over at Angelina "Are you Alright?"
She looks up at me "Are you?"
Pen soon comes back her head hanging low.
"Where's Shadow?" Dusk asks
Pen swallows and breathes a shaky breath, "She has forfeited her position in the Red Army."
Shadow.... had quit the Army?
