Chapter Seven: The Hero Killer

(Y/N) Todoroki

I now realize that either way, Iida grew angry that Stain- the HeroKiller even was close to laying a hand on his brother.

    "Iida!" I call out, "wait up!"

    "Yes, what is it (Y/N)?" He replies.

    "Please don't go after the Hero Killer." I plead, "You will hurt your hand fighting him. His quirk is Bloodcurdle, he can lick someone's blood and keep them frozen for longer or shorter depending on their blood type. Please, just listen to me."

    Iida nods, "I know (Y/N). I'm only going to Hosu for my internship. I promise."

    The look in his eyes tells me otherwise, but I don't stop him again as he leaves for his internship. I turn away, following my brother as we head to Endeavor's agency.

    "Oh good, I've been waiting for you two." He announces as we enter his office, "You're both finally ready to walk down the path of the mighty!"

    "We have no intention of following any path you've created." Shoto replies, and I hide my smile, "Only we can decide our future."

    "Is that so? Well, you should both get your hero costumes one, we're going out."

    "I assume it's Hosu?" I respond to dad.

    "How did you know?" He replies, I smile.

    "You still don't know me, dad."

    When we get into the train, I sit across from my dad and beside my brother. Eventually, I fall asleep. I feel a hand move my head over to the right, leaning on something. I open my eyes for a brief moment, I see Shoto half asleep. He must've moved my head to his shoulder, and eventually when I'm starting to fall asleep again, another head leans against mine.

    We get off the train late that night, and I yawn as Shoto wakes me up. We follow Endeavor until both Shoto and I's phones go off.

    "Dammit Iida." I mutter, turning around and running.

    "Where the hell are you going?" Dad asks.

    "To stop a murderer, as you're done fighting the Nomus, start bringing heroes to 4210 Echo Street!"

    Knowing my instincts, Shoto follows me as we head to Iida and Midoryia. We turn one alley and I see the hero killer about to kill Iida while Midoryia is stuck because of his blood curdle quirk. I touch the ground without alerting the hero killer. Then I use the roots of the ground grabbing the native, Iida, and Midoryia before they can get hurt I place them beside me.

    I look at Iida, and he flinches.

    "You are an idiot, Iida." I hiss, "You- UGH!"

    I suddenly start flaming up. I can't control the anger I have.

    "(Y/N), calm down- you know what happens when you get angry. You aren't you." Shoto says, but I move away from him.

(A/N: EAT A SNICKERS!! No? Okay, continue.)

"Come at me hero killer." I hiss, "I already know what you can do, but you are NEVER TOUCHING MY FRIENDS!"

    I charge at the killer, using the earth to block Shoto, the native, Midoryia, and Iida so they can't help. I use the roots from the ground, grabbing all of the killer's knives. Eventually, only one remains.
