Chapter Twelve: Anger

After Midoryia, Shoji, Tokoyami, Bakugo, Uraraka, Tsu, and I failed to save (Y/N) from the villains, we blamed ourselves. Everyone is at the hospital today, and they are all heartbroken. Even though she doesn't remember, (Y/N) used to be the rudest person in our class- even worse than Bakugo. But now that she was getting better with her temper, our class grew to love her. And since we failed, we feel that saving her is the one thing that we need to do. As a thank you to my sister, for becoming a better person.

All of us stand in Midoryia's hospital room.

"We wish the whole class could be here." Iida mutters, our classes' heads lower.

"We failed." Bakugo mutters, and it surprises all of us that he would admit defeat.

"M-My body wouldn't move." Midoryia cries, "And now she's gone."

"Then we're going to get her." Kirishima says, "Todoroki and I saw All Might talking to Yaoyorozu give a tracking device to him."

"You're going to have Yayorozu make another receiver, is that your plan?" Iida replies.

"What if it is?" I reply.

"You should listen to what All Might said! We shouldn't get involved!" Iida hisses.

"Well you all don't have to, but I am." I counter, "She's my sister. You wanted to go after the Hero Killer after (Y/N) told you that your brother would have died if she didn't tell you to call him right? Even though the Hero Killer never even touched your brother? Then she even saved you from him, don't you owe her this, Iida? She would do the same for you- for ANY OF YOU!"

I take a breath, closing my eyes to calm down. Iida doesn't reply.

"All I know, is at camp- I couldn't do anything." Kirishima continues, "My friend was targetted and all I did was stand by, helpless. So if I stand by now and leave (Y/N) with those villains, how am I supposed to call myself a hero!? Just listen to me, come on Midoryia, she's still within our reach, we can save (Y/N)."

"I agree with dumb hair," Bakugo suddenly says, "Even if she hates me- (Y/N) would protect any one of us if we were the ones kidnapped. I tried to save her before that stupid fire dude took her through the portal but our hands didn't reach. I'm not going to fail again. I am saving her, no matter what it takes."

Tsu steps up, "Even if your intentions are heroic, if you go out there- knowing that you're breaking the rules, then you're sorta acting like villains."

For a moment, there is silence until a doctor comes in and needs to see Midoryia.

I turn to the green-haired boy before we leave, "Remember, (Y/N) would do the same for you."

Kirishima approaches, "We're doing this tonight, after dark. That's if you're up for it."

So later that night, Kirishima, Bakugo, and I wait outside the hospital for Midoryia and Yayorozu.

"Have you decided?" I ask.

Before Yayorozu can reply, Iida appears.

"Hold on, I know that you all want to save her. But don't you remember Hosu, what happened to me after I made poor choices? You're all making them right now. Anything we do will reflect on our school, please remember that." He says.
