Chapter Three: The Sports Festival

(Y/N) Todoroki

The next day, Shoto and I practically fly around the house, grabbing our clothing. Once we arrive at UA, we rush to get around the people and we enter our room.

    "Everyone, get your game faces on! We're entering the arena soon!" Iida yells, and everyone's anxiety suddenly rushes to the sky.

    I watch as Shoto declares war against Midoryia, which makes everyone suddenly angry.

    "Oh boy, here we go." I mutter, facepalming.

    "Huh, what do you mean (Y/N)?" Uraraka asks.

    "This is where part of Shoto really shows to Midoryia." I reply.

    As we all enter arena, I control my anxiety and we enter the middle where stands Midnight.

    "Oh god, her costume is so much worse in person." I mutter, as Shoto gives me a confused sideglance.

    "And for the class representative, we have Katsuki Bakugo!" Midnight yells, which opens my eyes as he hops up on the stage and speaks to the viewers.

    "I just wanna say- I'm going to win." He mutters.

    "Now let's get started!" Midnight says, "The first game of the festival will be an obstacle course!"

    We all take our places in front of the door, but I remember that Shoto will freeze everyone in the door.

    "Hey, brother!" I call to him, he turns to me. There are two green lights still showing before we go.

    "Yeah sis?" One light left.

    "Don't freeze me to the ground this time?" I say, just as the last green light disappears and everyone starts pooling into the narrow entrance.

    Just as ice begins to form, I jump in the air and send a signal to the ground. The earth picks me up- shoving the other people out of the way, and I quickly fly beside my brother.

    "Didn't you hear me in the beginning, brother?" I giggle, "No freezing me today."

    I create a large wall of dirt as I fly past him, which makes the other UA students pretty angry with me.

    I watch as three robots appear beside me. I stop the earth from moving me and I create a large icicle and allow the earth to fly me high above the robots. As I come back down I spray many icicles at them- breaking them all apart.

    I hear Present Mic's voice from the arena, "(Y/N) Todoroki from class 1-A! Her quirk, The Elements! (Y/N) is able to emit light, darkness, control the earth, emit ice or fire, and even water from her body at any given time. It looks like she's pulled into first place with a devastating attack on the robots!"

    I smirk, as I notice one of the cameras pan onto me, I wave at it with a grin and continue to make the earth move me ahead of the other students. I come across the cavern. I glance behind me to see the rest of the school approach the obstacle.

    I use my ice to slide across all of the ropes and when I get to the other side I see Tsu and Shoto getting closer. I quickly use the earth to propel myself forwards, basically flying past the entire cavern. But the ground drops behind me as I fly over, making sure no one else can use my path. Eventually, I come across the minefield. I create little pedestals for me to hop to and then I jump over all the mines with ease. Once I get to the end of them, I use the earth to drag me forwards. When I get to the other side, I see Shoto and I drop all of the earth that helped me get across.
