Chapter Thirty-Eight: The Imposter

    When (Y/N) and the rest of her classmates are fully awake in the common room, Aizawa suddenly enters with a stricken look on his face.

    "Everyone, (Y/N) has.." He trails off as he locks eyes with the number one hero, "..been here the whole time?"

    It's now that the class notices the cuts and bruises covering their homeroom teacher's body, each of them give him a very concerned stare.

    "Mr. Aizawa, I've been here the whole time..what has been going on?" (Y/N) asks.

    "There..there must be an imposter." He mutters in reply.

    (Y/N)'s and Shoto's faces immediately drop, "What?"

    "There's a girl out there, she looks exactly like you..but I don't think she has the kagune quirk or the manipulation one." Aizawa responds, "She's your imposter."

    "Those dreams..weren't just a figment of my imagination?" (Y/N) mutters, her eyes widening. "Everyone, you are to stay here, no matter what's going on outside. You got that?"

    Reluctantly, class 1-A all nod together.

    "The heroes and I will handle this." the hero continues, "My visions showed you all dying, and I am not letting that happen."

    1-A watches Aizawa and (Y/N) leave from the windows. Shoto finally catches a glimpse of his sister's imposter, she's an exacty copy of (Y/N), but with one major difference. The imposter's eye has a scar over it, light pink, but deep like it was made by a knife. Her face is clearly filled with anger and resentment.

    When the real version of (Y/N) approaches her twin, the imposter's face darkens and she immediately grits her teeth and attempts to burn the hero.

    "Welcome to your final moments, bastard." the imposter hisses, "I'm the real (Y/N) Todoroki, you're just an imposter from the 'real' world. I'm Shoto's sister, I'm Rei's daughter, I'm..his daughter, not you! You deserve to be dead. Y'know, I tried to kill you that day..in the hospital, but my brother showed up and I had to leave."

    "Huh?" The real (Y/N) mutters, "How did Shoto not recognize you as me?"

    "Because I have a new quirk." the imposter says, "I can take form of anyone I've seen. At the time, I was some store owner. Maybe I've been here the entire time, stalking you for the perfect moment! You'll never know!"

    "Do you just want your life back, is that it!?" the real (Y/N) responds, "I can do that, if you want."

    "Oh no.." the imposter chuckles, "I don't want my life back. I'd rather kill off every person who thought you were me instead. So..everyone in the entire world. Since you are the Symbol of Peace, and everyone basically worships your worthless ass. Let's begin, shall we?"

    Suddenly, the ground beneath Aizawa and (Y/N), as well as Present Mic, (since he was the one who caught the imposter as she tried to enter class 1-A's dormitories), turns into small chunks of rock. Almost like a grid. The imposter rushes her twin, sending chunks of earth at her. Many pieces make contact, and cause the number one hero to fall to the ground.

    Up in the window, Shoto and the rest of 1-A can't bear to see the three heroes be beaten up by the imposter. Denying their orders, the boy with the bi-colored hair, as well as the rest of 1-A rush down to the ground. They leave their dorms and run to where the imposter is attacking. Immediately upon noticing the new heroes, the imposter of (Y/N) locks eyes with her brother.

    "Oh, hello, brother." She hisses, glaring daggers into him.

    "I am not your brother." Shoto replies.
