[Rachel POV]

It's only been a couple of days since we were able to recover the last of the Autobots and Sam, and my headache still won't go away. The twins constantly irritate everyone in the base, including the ones residing in my mind. Even Optimus has made it clear that they are to stay away from the main hangar.

Far. Away.

However, do they listen?

No.

As I continue to work on my project, my tail flits as Mudflap's voice echoes around. "Man, yous a wuss. Ain't no one here to bother us!" Skids pipes in just as I hear their pedsteps begin to sound out. I feel Jazz let out an exasperated sigh, and Broadwing growls. I only huff at them to hush and continue working. Two wires had fried when I had tested this out the other day, and I was trying to repair them. I reach in and grasp the two frayed ends, pulling them up to inspect. My head cocks to the side, and I use my tail to grab another wire behind them. It wasn't fried, but it was darkened, and posing as another issue to fix. I let off a low growl, which triggers the twins behind me.

"Woah! Looks like someone is here!" Mudflap says, a hint of fear in his voice. Skids walks over and laughs. "What's she gonna do, beat us with those tiny-*** wings?" I hear his snicker, and Jazz speaks up in my mind. Oh that's it!

'Jazz....'

No! I will not let them talk to you like that. Let me at them. I'll tear them a new one that they won't ever forget!

'Jazz......'

I'll rip off their smug grins and shove them so far up their-

'Jazz!'

He finally stops, and I smirk. 'Let me handle this.' I hear him laugh and Broadwing chuckles as he settles down. This I must see. With that, I turn around and cross my arms, glaring at the two. Skids kneels down, sneering at my small size. "Whatchu got, girl? Gonna let us in on your little project there, or ya just gonna stay quite like a good human?" He reaches up to fist bump his twin (the smarter one apparently), but he gets nothing. "Uh, Skids? She ain't lookin' too happy!" At least he noticed. My wings were folded up slightly against my back, and my tail was laying before me. I could feel my eyes burning, and Mudflap turns back to me.

Before he can speak, I blast forward and curl my hand into a fist. Thrusting it forward, it connects with the bottom right side of his face and sends him flying back into the far wall. He shouts in pain and slumps down, raising a hand to hold his face. Mudflap simply backs away, and I land softly back on the ground, wiping the energon off my hand. It was slightly bruised from the hit, but I don't bother healing it. I just turn back to my project. It was almost done, and I could hear Mudflap helping Skids out of the hangar.

Jazz can't hold back his laughter and Broadwing was smiling. 'Oh! Oh my Primus! Didya see his faceplates?!' I shake my head with a smirk, and quickly wrap the two frayed lines in electrical tape, then sever the darker line. It seemed like the energy that was trying to flow through it was getting stopped here, so I needed to find another wire to replace this one before trying to experiment with it again. If I can get this to work, everyone would be much safer...

Including Jack.

I sigh at the thought of him and my mother. I hadn't seen her in a while, and the last time I did, it was to visit them. Let me tell you, hiding my wings was no easy business! It was quite painful, actually, as they were cramped up after being under a trench coat for so long, but my tail was much easier to hide. I split it down the center and had it wrap around my legs. They looked slightly bigger, until I flattened the two pieces of my tail against the skin of my legs, making them only look a bit more muscular.
