The Little Senju Climbs a Tree

Izumi's POV

The kunai headed straight for Zabuza forcing him to let go of our sensei. To which he grumbled and headed straight toward Naruto with a malicious look in his eyes, but Kakashi easily stopped him with the back of his hand and glared at Zabuza with his sharingan eye.

"All of you...! That was amazing!" Kakashi Sensei breathed proud of his students, "You've all matured so much!" The moment didn't last long as Zabuza and Kakashi fought each other. Using his sharingan Kakashi copied Zabuza's water dragon jutsu and two spouts of water arose and hammered each other brutally. There was a bit more of such and after a few minutes Zabuza lost it and began spewing out nonsense. Our sensei was about to kill him when two senbon pierced the man's neck.

We all stood in shock at a young man with a mask covering his face came to retrieve Zabuza's body, "I thank you..." he began, "You've made my job easier for me..."

Kakashi jumped down from his perch in a tree to check Zabuza's pulse, "No doubt about it... This man's dead."

After much conversation and the boy left taking Zabuza with him we were about to head off to Tazuna's house when Kakashi Sensei collapsed?!? "Sensei!" Sakura and I chorused gathering at our sensei's side, "What's going on?!?"

Somehow we managed to drag Kakashi Sensei to Tazuna's house and let him rest for awhile. Once he was rested on the floor Sakura and Naruto decided to try and peek under Kakashi's mask. Sigh. Those two can be so immature... I'll give Naruto a break since he is a guy after all, but Sakura acts like she's soooo much better than him. Another sigh. They're a pain, but they're still my teammates.

"You two... He's gonna wake up..." I sighed deeply leaning my elbows on the floor as I laid on my stomach, "You guys are so loud!" yawning I looked up at our dozing sensei.

"Ssh!" the two placed a finger over their mouths, "He'll wake up if you talk so loudly!" Sakura said in a hushed tone.

"Whatever... Don't say I didn't warn you..." I muttered laying my head on my arms, "And how can you two really call me loud?"

Just as Sakura and Naruto were about to look underneath Kakashi's mask his eye blinked open sending both of them tumbling backwards and letting out surprised cries. Sakura then scolded Naruto for being an idiot and that they 'almost' got to see while waving her fist in his face.

"Told you so..." I looked at Kakashi still concerned about his health, "Are you going to be alright?" he didn't respond simply putting a hand over his face.

"Well, are you?!?" Tsunami, Tazuna's daughter, asked staring intently at him with her hands upon her hips.

"No, but I will be soon." Kakashi smiled at her in a calming way.

"But Sensei..." Sakura started getting exceptionally close to Kakashi Sensei, "The sharingan is amazing and all, but if it takes so much out of you maybe you shouldn't use it!"

I kind of zoned out after that when they were talking about tracker ninja and such because it was kinda boring and a bit gross and then plot twist Zabuza is probably still alive and the tracker is likely his ally?!? Sakura, Naruto, and Tazuna looked shocked and Sauske being his stoic Uchiha self merely looked slightly troubled. I meanwhile was almost glad in a way because I totally sucked in our previous battle with Zabuza.

"Exactly, so I'm going to do the only I can do... Train all of you!" Kakashi explained sitting up.

"What good is a little training going to do?!?(Are you trying to kill us?!?)" Sakura exclaimed blowing up on our sensei.

"You're wrong..." I got her attention by tugging her sleeve gently, "It'll make all the difference." giving her a knowing look, "Right Sensei?"

"Right, you've all matured a lot and Izumi you've showed impressive talent for someone of your particular background." he nodded in agreement, "Naruto you've grown the most.
